Discussion: WH Urges People To Call NYT And Ask For Name Of Op-Ed Writer

Now THIS is what a real Witch Hunt looks like!

…to execute a full frontal assault on the “enemies of the people”…? Sounds about right. Beginning with the illiterati storming the gates via pickup truck. Lends a whole new meaning to the word ‘moran’.

And he calls Dems violent. You ain’t seen nothing yet, Dotard… and they’ll all be from your frothy base.

Will we be able to hold him personally and legally liable when the harassing, harming and possible killing of journalists begins? I think he should be brought up on incitement charges, at the very least.

…And he hasn’t sacrificed shit.

…yet…

I’m not sure that “Sacrifice” and ‘having something forcefully taken from you’ are synonymous…

Agreed in general, but I fear it’s not the culmination. If I were a NYT reporter or editor I would seriously consider major safety precautions. That probably holds true for most in the news biz. Except, of course, Fox and minions.

I would really, really like to see a continuing piece in the Times, transcripts of any such calls. Social anthropology on the cheap.

This is a jackass asking people to die for an unhinged, stupid, egomaniacal, fascist pig in battle. Next…

Oh, I don’t know about that. We have a FOX station right down the road from us, and I am beginning to feel PRETTY testy !!

It’s not like the NYT composed the message, they were the proverbial messenger. The writer needs to come forward, confront the prez which would probably be on behalf of a group of like-minded resisters in the WH, tell PP (at last) he needs to resign, and then resign himself. If the RWNs want to get crazy over a RWer, it’ll be a first (Nixon was confronted by R Senators who urged him to resign, the first early step leading to his resignation).

You have to read the book — the movie version has great actors but garbles the plot. The book is phenomenal.

They told me the initials were KAC, but who can you believe these days, right?

Trump wants to use a lie detector to find the author of the op-ed piece. The epic irony escapes trump completely.

Right. The guy who went through life in NY posing using any one of a number of fake personas and calling in gossip about himself to tabloids.

One of my favorite movies. Flicks where I don’t get all the plot I read the summaries on imdb.com. The trivia section is usually fun too.

I received a suggestion that I read the book because I said the film confuses me every time I’ve watched. TTTT the book confuses me too.

I always read the IMDB trivia. Sometimes during if the movie gets a little slow. I’ve seen The Big Sleep so many times it actually makes sense to me, but you have to realize the hints to what the censors wouldn’t allow. And there is a missing scene in the D.A.'s office that helps but I only saw it once on TCM. It was released last year in HD finally - what a difference.

Alternatively:
“New York Times.”

“Yes, I wants to know who rote that fake news editorial against the prezident.”

"I gather you were upset by the editorial but I need a little more information. Was this the part that upset you? (Reads paragraph.)
