Discussion: WH: Trump's Weekends At Mar-A-Lago Are 'Part Of Being President'

Not in this case… Merkle wanted to get out of dodge asap. She remembered Dubya’s back rub, and remembered Trump wouldn’t stop at that…

Unless you’re black. Trump complained non stop for eight years. Fucking hypocrites.

Trump is an old man, perhaps nature will simply take its course…

He has no STAMINA…

And why can I recall Trump complaining non stop when Obama went anywhere. I really hate these people. Every one of them. They have no redeeming qualities.

And all you GOP assholes who complained about Obama and his time out of the WH I can’t hear you. What? You only complain when it’s a Democrat (or a black family)?

Because they didn’t care so long as Trump screwed over minorities. Fuck 'm. There is nothing Republicans can do to them that they don’t deserve as the just reward for their vote for Trump.

Spicer is the male version of Kellyanne. Both have shredded their integrity, and foolishly done so for someone that is in free fall.

And now doubt she is more sensitive to the plight of actual tax paying Americans than this slug.

I’m just glad there are no photos of Spicey on his knees on the oval office couch…

I live in West Palm Beach, the news here is full of stories about the expense and inconvenience associated with these weekly visits. If Trump keeps this up the local police departments might go broke.

Did he fly down there almost every weekend before he became president?

Spicey, do you think tRUmp would have received as many votes if he had:

run a campaign in open cooperation with russian mobsters and politicians?

had campaigned on the fact that he would spend every weekend golfing in FLA? and that such trips would be made at taxpayer expense and the expense of federal contributions to Meals on Wheels?

tRUmphonesty: “We are going to vacation in Florida every week at the cost of $3.3 million/trip to the taxpayer, old people will have to starve to make this happen, but that is why they voted for my “refreshing” approach to governing”

sound about right spicey sphincter?

The President had a very detailed, in-depth conversation about world events with Stan the pool bartender…

“I get it, I get it. But at the same time, the President is very clear
that he works seven days a week,” Spicer said. "This is where he goes to
see his family. He brings people down there. This is part of being
President."

Sean, anyone DT invites to Florida should come on his or their dime, not tax payer money. That includes his wife and kids unless they are on the plane with him.
Also Sean, His family doesn’t live in Florida. If he wanted to see Ivanka he can drive across DC to her new home. If he wants to see his son Barron … well … he can go to his tower in NYC. Maybe his wife will be there, maybe not. I mean, it’s not like he actually cares about either of them all that much based on what I have seen.
And this “working seven days a week” crap is crap.

Sean, how do you sleep at night after the lies you tell and the lies you defend?

And it’s not Obamacare … it’s TRUMPCARE now.

These trips, not to mention the cost of Melania & kid staying in NY (I heard an estimate of > 180M/yr, can that be right???), should be subject to the Mick Mulvaney rule: We can and will ask a poor worker in WV to pay for defense, but can we ask him to pay for this? Especially in lieu of Meals on Wheels?

((Checks cupboard for peanut butter …Oh good… I have 2 jars backlogged. Now as for cat food tins…))

Taking into account the activity of the prior 44 presidents overthe last 240 years,Trump is the only one where weekends at Mar Lago were part of the presidency.Works 7 days a week.Don’t make us laugh. What is he working at, Mayhem?

Exactly. Who pays the room-rate at Mara Lago for the many visitors? Who profits? (Duh!).

I also don’t understand why children of the President who have separate residences should get the level of protection that they get. I realize they might be targets for kidnappings, etc, but there should be some limit that the family has to live within. Let’s face it. We all have limits. It never seriously came up until now. (OH, yeah, there was bellyaching from the Dem’s with Dubya’s constant visits to “clear brush,” trump – and others – complained about Obama’s golf and Michele’s trip to Spain). But NEVER has this level of abuse occurred.

I think the word of the year will be “UNPRECEDENTED” because everything about this goon is just that!
