Discussion: WH: There Was 'Not A Meeting' Between Trump And New Russian Ambassador

Who to believe, Donnie or the Russian?

Actually, there’s a very fine line there between the two, getting finer every day that Mr. Mueller is on the hunt.

“There was not a meeting,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

She later confirmed that there had been a meeting – but only to discuss orphans.

If it is what you say. Love it.

There was fictional press secretary who in my mind set the gold standard as to how press reps should handle the administration’s news output. I’ve heard Allison Janney is available for a short-term contract, where the job description will include “honesty.”

It was a meeting, but it wasn’t a meeting meeting.

Just like Don, Jr.'s meeting about colluding with the Russians wasn’t collusion collusion.

I would gladly trade the Trump WH, each and every one of them, for the Bartlett White House.

And yes, I know they’re fictional. They’re still better than this crew.

Don Jr.'s meeting with the Russians last June wasn’t a meeting. It was a credentialing ceremony, silly!

In a demonstration of solidarity between the two nations, they were quietly mourning the victims of Bowling Green together.

Bizarro world. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Russian says that he and Trump discussed ways to save ACA.
And how to protect gays in Chechnya.

“He was just helping the President move a desk. There was no meeting. Hey, it was heavy. It had all these files in it.”

It wasn’t a meeting; he was just there dropping off the adoption papers.

Remember the Abramoff affair back during the Drunken Frat Boy administration? The crooked lobbyist? Congresscritters were falling all over themselves trying to get away from Jack Abramoff. My favorite was Tom DeLay, the former house majority leader. You remember. The guy who was on TV actually handing out bribes on the House floor? When he was asked about Abramoff he said and I quote, “Jack who?”
