I didn’t see a mention of this when I scanned the article. SHS tweeted out a DOCTORED video that speeds up Acosta’s arm move to make it look like a deliberate move on his part, when it was just part of his gesturing. He also apologized when he brushed her arm. The audio is not a part of SHS’s video. And…where did SHS get the video? Wait for it…Infowars.
OR well…
OK, the wheels are coming off our democracy, very rapidly.

Honestly, unless a reporter throws a shoe at the podium, I don’t understand how a White House – any White House – can be permitted to deny press credentials. It is hard to say we have a free press if its members can be excluded on the whim of a whiny bully who calls people names when he knows they can’t answer back.
Denying the credentials was bad enough. Lying about Mr. Acosta’s actions makes it worse, and circulating a doctored video is downright Orwellian. Particularly because of the frenzied climate against the news media whipped up by Mango Mussolini himself, his specific targeting of a member of the press like this literally puts Mr. Acosta’s life in danger. It is clear that Trump doesn’t care, but the other branches of government should. It’s not enough that CNN stands behind its reporters. It’s well past time for the Congress to do the same; condemn this assault on the press and on a private citizen doing his job. Pass legislation to protect journalists.
That, at least, we have.
CNN and Acosta should be getting ready to going to Court to seek an order restoring his press pass. I haven’t given thought to it but the administration can’t be allowed disseminate a doctored, false, and libelous video and use it to fraudulently exclude a reporter, on behalf of the people, from the WH press corps. This dictatorial behavior must be challenged.
MSNBC just reminded me that Obama’s WH had put a moratorium on calling on Fox during pressers. The rest of the press protested and the WH removed the ban.
So…the question is…what will the rest of the media do with this?
So, WH has interns running security at press conferences now? My first impression, from before the WH complaint, was that the intern accosted Acosta rather than Acosta accosting.
By the way, the entire press conference was another reminder that it’s not okay to have a racist as president.
The video does not lie. Acosta did nothing wrong.
Absolutely, the undoctored, real video shows that Acosta was just doing his job, while a poor intern was sent in to block and tackle.
Unfortunately, trumpists are all howling at Acosta for hitting the intern. We have all been drug into Stranger Things’ Upside Down.
The real reason I suspended Acosta’s press pass…
That intern belongs to me and I’m the only one allowed to touch her, or even get close to her. She’s mine!
What they should do is just stop covering these rants. No press conferences, no scrums, no gaggles. He thrives on outrage and outlandishness. Starve him of his oxygen.
What I wanted to wear to vote yesterday.

I’m in a district that went for Trump by nearly 75%. Unfortunately, most of them would not make the connection.
I want that hat!
Sorry about your district. I remember when I grew up in Texas. I was always amazed at people who seemed caring and nice, but would then support Reagan.
I can’t imagine living around trumpists. I really can’t.
Just type in those words on Google Image and you can order hats, shirts, hoodies, and coffee mugs from many different places.
Just another example of how much of a pussy the president really is. Had a bad election result? Claim victory by only LOSING half of your legislative support… then take out your frustration on a reporter.
POTUS = POUTS
It was a nice touch to tell reporters with foreign accents “I can’t understand you.”
This intern is getting an invaluable lesson on how to operate a fascist government in a “Democratic Republic.”
