Discussion: WH Stands Behind Ronny Jackson As Senate Committee Eyes Allegations

How rich. Even if team orange tries to hire someone from outside the swamp, they still can’t hire the “best people”. It’s like donnie is a shit magnet.

And, uh, I somehow doubt this guy has been on the “front lines of deadly combat”. They just can’t help but lie, can they?

Yeah, my first thought was that “behind you” is the last place you want this WH to be standing.

Here is how this story ends:

“Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson withdrew his name today from consideration as Secretary of Veterans Affairs and announced he was retiring from active military service to spend more time with his family”.

The only question is when?

Only Bloody Marys before lunch. Martinis before noon – excessive.

To prevent him from falling back?

I watched Trump stand behind Clinton during the debates, and I wouldn’t want that creep anywhere near my back.

Now that the Waffle House is backing him, there is no telling how far Jackson can go.

They’re standing behind him so he doesn’t fall over, it would seem.

Someone explain to me how being the personal physician to three presidents constitutes “strong, decisive leadership.” No one has ever stated that he’s been in charge of anything bigger than a clinic let alone one of the biggest agencies in the US government.

And someone who claims that an obese man who can’t walk around the block is in good health has problems with judgment. You don’t want to have to trust a man who would say things like that with anything that matters.

There is nothing on thsi guy’s resume that qualifies him to run one of the largest bureaucracies in the world. The fact that he thinks he is qualified is the final disqualifier. Apparently the only way you can say someone just isn’t qualified anymore is to dig up shit about their personal lives. Whatever works, I guess.

“I’m looking forward to the hearing so we can sit down and I can explain everything to everyone and answer all the senators’ questions.”

Well, you can start by explaining to me, not just some senators behind closed doors.

I fear for the Veterans. Always have and always will.
I once had inflamed tonsils and went to the VA in the middle of the night to get a prescription.
The, excuse the reference, Dot head was going to cut them out right then and there at 1 am.
Needless to say, I walked out and went to my own doctor to get the prescription the next day.
Still got my tonsils also…
Anyway, this guy seems to biting off more than he can chew or to much is being rammed down his throat by trump.
It’s a scary situation for our vets one way or the other.

Not Dr. Ronny. The Obama crew said he was such a great doctor! Lesson for Obama crew - praise no one who serves this administration, even the ones you think you know. Assume the worst. Always. Also good to know that this guy is dispensing meds like chiclets. No worries that we have a medicinally impaired president looking for the football.

erm, "“excessive drinking on the job”? How much is excessive? I would have thought any drinking on that job would be too much. And I would guess that frontlines comment is a bit misleading, unless he was a naval corpsman before he became a doctor. Either way, being a good doctor does not make you a good administrator, I am thinking I really am not liking the idea of this guy being in charge of my health care. Its bad enough now.
