Of course Trump thinks they are lying…he has to in order to preserve his pick for the SC. In other words, Trump doesn’t really care if they are lying or not, all that matters is that he gets his way, it’s the Trump (and Republican) way of governing the nation. Truth, justice, those things don’t matter unless they can be used to free a Republican from responsibility or twisted to take down an opponent. It’s a sad state of affairs, and worrying that it continues without nearly the blowback it should receive.

Clarence Thomas was working at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission when he sexually harassed Anita Hill repeatedly . . . so just because Kavanaugh supported equal opportunity based on gender, that has nothing to do with whether he was out of line in HS and College . . . they have nothing to do with one another . . . although one could suspect that his past boorish behavior maybe gave him the impetus to be a better man, however the fact that he is not admitting it, when the story ring true, means that his actions have always been based on politics and ambition.
