Nunes and Chaffetz are in a competition to see who can get his tongue in deeper. It’s going to be really funny (and really scary) when they both call for Comey to resign after praising him for interfering in the election.
@daveyjones64 He’s skinny and didn’t have any wardrobe malfunctions like Spicer’s debut. Also, unlike Kellyanne, he has no gag reflex for lying and repeatedly cited Trump’s supremacy/infallibility. I can absolutely see Trump clapping his hands and shouting “whaddaguy!” while watching.

I agree. I think the House Intelligence Committee should look especially hard at why the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court granted the warrant.
It couldn’t, for instance, possibly be because the Republican-Trump Campaign did anything that, y’know, warranted surveillance, could it, Sarah?

That story may be Bannon/Breitbart’s attempt at distraction and misinformation, but I do not believe Trump is that organized. He is just spinning out due to malignant narcissism and the infantilism that comes with encroaching dementia. If he was trying to accomplish anything (besides making his brain feel better), he wouldn’t have followed up with that bullshit about the Apprentice. In his mind, those 2 things are equal.

Having Huckabee (who has no brains or credibility) implies that not even Spicer would spout the lies she will. He has to worry about his next paying gig. Her next one will be getting married and having fat babies that Mike Huckabee can turn into JesusFreaks (R, AK).

I give Comey a lot of the blame for what’s happening here. The NY field office got to be what it got to be under his watch, so the idea that they forced him to write that letter never washed with me. He was negligent in letting them go feral at least.
It frustrates me how much is riding on him being a better guy than I have any reason to believe he is.
