Discussion: WH Spox Grilled On How Trump Staying At NJ Golf Club Saves Taxpayer Money

What we need is a modern-day equivalent of Jack Anderson. There is no such person now. Hell, even Art Buchwald.

I thought she was inappropriate in her attitude. She pretty much gave the impression that the press was there simply to irritate her and she had canned answers for everything. (By canned I alao mean lies). She was trying to look so “at ease” that she looked like she was too good for this unpleasant task.

She is as sickening as everyone else in her family.

Time to pull the plug on President Do-Nothing Deadbeat.

Not yet. Maybe eventually King Donald I can enclose part of that wasteful commons known as the National Mall, and build a quality golf course for quality people at reasonable annual membership fees …

I wonder if he learned that from Cheney/KBR and the Iraq contracts or if they learned it from him?

“He’s buying 24K gold toilets with tax payers’ money instead of platinum toilets to save Americans money.”

In fairness, perhaps it is best to remember that Bush was only covering up for a lame administrative decision.

Trump is covering up and haughtily lying in everybody’s face over what is a notoriously unjustifiable transaction.

Oh, that was just mean!

Tsk, tsk, tsk, and harumph even! :sunglasses:

Haberman and Chris Cillizza have already clinched the women’s and men’s Gold in the “Obsequious Trump Fluffing” event.

“She is emblematic of the smug, self-congratulatory obtuseness and towering, utterly unjustified self-regard”

This is also my reaction listening to the NPR commentators in the rare seconds before I can change the channel in my car radio. Their self-satisfaction just oozes from the speakers.

Jesus Christ on a cracker, media.

He’s not working. At least not for us. This is how Trump is handling his many conflicts of interest. By doing this, he thinks he can claim he’s working for the government at the White House, and then he goes to his golf club to negotiate his private graft — from what he set up in Washington.

Besides, going to his club puts taxpayer’s dollars into his pocket. It’s a wonder he goes to Washington at all.

Strange but true, I’m inclined nowadays to feel more kindly towards dubya than I did back then.

Staying at WH would save a lot more… maybe the ghosts of past presidents are keeping him up nights and making him crazy.

Andrews is 7 minutes away by helicopter. It’s secure, it’s cheap, and it’s where Obama played most of his games. Or course, many times BHO went back to the White House in the afternoon to WORK, something the current resident is allergic to.
