If Trump were not so monumentally inept, his people would be touting how, in the end, Mueller and his people did the country a service by making clear that allegations of collusion were false. But no, they are mucking it up already.
As someone more clever than I noted, Trump has the Midas touch. Everything he touches turns to mufflers.
From light-years away you could have seen it coming that releasing the actual report would be ever so difficult because of the administration’s great respect and concern for the intelligence community and its confidential sources. Fucking despicable.
Wonder if all the Rs who voted that the report should be released are now going to backtrack. And how they will justify backtracking.
They just can’t accept anything with grace can they?
Celebrating in the endzone a field goal that puts them ahead by 1 point with 14 minutes left in the 4th quarter
Not famous for it, this gang. Some of the more fastidious observers have pointed out that managing to avoid being criminally charged is not exactly all we ask from our leaders, and it’s not something they should be crowing about. But they’re taking this shocked moment and filling it up with propaganda to make further pursuit more difficult, and I can’t blame the sons of bitches for that. The lousiest, smelliest hyena in Africa is going to try to survive if it’s caught by a lion. It might get away, this one time, but it’s not going to smell any better.
“We want to make sure we protect innocent people throughout this process, that we protect the sources and methods that the intelligence community uses,” Sanders told CNN’s John Berman, talking about publicly releasing the report. “Those are things that matter not just for this President but they matter for every President.”
From the press secretary that never seems to talk to the Pres. The press secretary that willing lies for the Pres. and then he contradicts her.
22 months for an investigation this serious is nothing Sarah. And the one good thing that the length of this investigation has shown is that no one in this Administration has handled the “Grace Under Fire” test, not a single one. Well maybe Rick (good hair) Perry since he’s seem to kept his head down and kept out of sight.
What is even more laughable is “we want to protect the sources and methods the intelligence community uses” part. When has Trump ever had confidence in the Intelligence community. How many times has he and SHS implied that they are part of the “deep state”?
I say, continue with your exaggerations and claims that the Dems should apologize. Keep it up. Every damn Dem talking head should be saying, if it’s such a complete and total vindication, then no problem releasing the report. The “protection” bullshit fools no one, even those who love Trump.
They’re going to regret this gloating.
Agree except for your last 5 words
“WH simultaneously calls Mueller probe ‘shameful’, touts Barr’s summary of it”
Translation: Barr’s summary has little in common with Mueller’s actual report.
Well, that’s always a stretch.
I hope so.
I also think we should screw this “move on” crap that we’re already hearing from many Democrats. The GOP would NEVER move on - and if “Not exonerated,” and “Release the report” is the winning message for our candidate, so be it. Trump wants to hammer it to death, fine, we can too. Of course, “exonerated” is a bit long for most Americans.
I simply don’t believe you’re in doubt about either of these questions.
Well … yes.
no they won’t
I have read 5 of the articles on this disaster. And perhaps he has not gotten out of bed yet, but let the record state that vonholst has not posted “I told you so.” which, as a married person of over 30 years, I know to be incredibly hard to do, and shows great restraint on his part.
Can’t wait until lightening strikes down Ma Hamhock. And it will.
