I cannot imagine what it is like for those who are deeply impacted by this idiot shutdown. The idea that suggestions are made that federal employees can get payday loans to tide them over during the shutdown is beyond insensitive. It is criminal, as are payday loans.
We have family members who are impacted and if not for our collective family safety net to literally provide them cash flow, this young family would be making tough decisions about paying their mortgage, student loans or buying food this week, including for their infant child.
Think about those who donât have this âsafety net.â If this shut down is not personal, then please make it personal.
