Well we’ve calibrated the length of a Scaramucci when will someone here calibrate the length of this maladministration?

I think that like Schrodinger’s cat, the length of this maladministration is relative. It is forever and yet it hasn’t been 2 years.

I know that this too shall pass, but what I worry about is how are we going to go back to discussing the merits of policy proposals after we lived through Trumplandia?

Then we will be stuck with his sorry ass for a long time…

“Kavanapocalypse.”

A descrpiption of Kavanaugh’s responses to Democratic senators’ questions: “Kava-jive.”

Unfortunately, the Democrats can delay the vote by a week - it’s in the rules. So it’s not that big of a deal … yet.

Well the White House and McConnell broke the glass and moved the clock hands forward 11 hours so fuck off and die.

What are you talking about? This is clearly a “Democrats in Disarray” story.

I had a professor who could do that with hours in law school. It was rumored he was a Timelord.

Shorter WH: Damn! We thought we could rush his confirmation through before the Democrats found out about this!

Check the clock. Wait an hour. Look at the clock. It was only just then advancing a minute from the last check.

From Wikipedia: “Toward the end of the early hearings, NPR’s Supreme Court correspondent Nina Totenberg received a leaked Judiciary Committee/FBI report that a former colleague of Thomas, University of Oklahoma law school professor Anita Hill, accused him of making unwelcome sexual comments to her when the two worked together at the Department of Education (DOE) and EEOC.[3][27][28] In the same FBI report, Thomas testified that he had once promoted Allyson Duncan over Hill as his chief of staff at the EEOC.[3] Anita Hill testimony[edit]”
Of course there was nothing to that “11th-hour allegation” in1991, was there? (snark) So this time Grassley gets to be Joe Biden, McConnell gets to be Howard Baker, and Orrin Hatch gets to play himself all over again. We will just have to wait for Jane Mayer’s and Jill Abramson’s book to find out the real story this time, just as we did the last time.
