Discussion: WH Ordered To Return Jim Acosta's Press Pass

I dont know, it’s a shiny object to watch.

Gives trump a call back to accuse CNN of reprisal we they break another story.

Yes, thinking people will know its B.S., but Trump doesn’t bother to try and speak to thinking people.

Going with that doctored video was probably the petard that hoisted them in this instance.

Who cares? He has accused them of all kinds of shit so far. It hasn’t hurt them but it has now bitten him hard.

Yep, though I suspect he got some commitments from Kav…

First, his bogus voter commission bites the dust.
Second, the result of the midterms sticks in his craw
Now CNN and Acosta make him eat it raw.

The only thing better would be a court-ordered apology, which Acosta then tells them to roll into a tight funnel.

Judges know that their tenures, and their legacies, will long outlast the terms of any president. They are not dependent on any president for keeping their positions, nor do they owe loyalty to any particular president. Trump may not know this, but judges do. I’m pretty sure that even the dimmest judge is smarter than the average Trump.

Yes and judges don’t just consider the effects of their rulings on the immediate problem. They are aware that they are setting long term precedent. They are not going to hand a bunch of power to any president because they can’t take it back without a lot of trouble.

In other words, a day like any other day in Trump’s miserable life.

Now Jim needs to be asking the most asinine questions ever; really make shit stain show his ass.

“The White House revoked Acosta’s credentials after he and Trump tangled during a press conference last week.”

So, a working reporter and the President of the United States met in the White House and “tangled” with each other. You know, two men disagreeing. Stong feelings on each side.

Fake news! Revoke AP’s pass. They don’t know bullying when it’s couldn’t possibly be plainer.

Hear, hear. Who the hell cares what he does to rile up the zombies he calls a base? He can howl all he wants, he is hanging on by a thread and Mueller/Dem congress have the scissors ready to cut.

His base cares. And while they are few in numbers, there are enough red state Senators that fear this group.

This is trumps backstop against impeachment.

Sarah Sanders: “There must be decorum at the White House.”

Clearly she has a sense of humor.

How shocking that Sanders sent out a doctored video and the accused Acosta of being unprofessional

They are already doing this to a degree. When was the last time SHS had a press briefing er flogging? Trump is essentially his own press secretary. He holds court on the WH lawn.

Louis Gohmert used to be a judge.

Womp! Womp!

“This young, vulnerable White House intern, carrying the unborn child of a Marine on active duty, tried to hold back the raging beast Acosta as he attempted to strike her with a microphone-shaped mace.”

In fairness to the Federal Judiciary:

  1. Gohmert was elected to three terms as a District Court Judge in
Texas. (I’d use Louis as exhibit A in why electing judges is a
    bad.idea.)
  2. Louis did serve a six-month term as Chief Justice of the Texas 12th Court of Appeals. (I’d use Louis as exhibit A in why allowing Rick Perry to appoint judges is a bad.idea.)
  3. Federal judges are appointed and confirmed and once upon a time underwent a fairly rigorous vetting process.

With all that said, I’m not sure that Gohmert (as dim as he is) is not smarter than the average Tump.
