Poor widdle Sarah she only has things to report that the President doesn’t like to talk about.

Actually, this little foot-stamping doesn’t mean anything at all. The MediaWhores should have long* abandoned these pointless pressers. If they felt the need to hear anything, they could have done a pool report or sent interns to see what fountain of bulllshit looks like.

But nooo, they opted to keep going back, pretending they were Doing Important Free Press things in defense of something, something, and ultimately doing their part in the circus because they know nothing else.

Because taking oneself hostage is always such a great negotiating strategy…

They’ve just retreated to their safe space on Fox News where they can be assured that they can lie unquestioned. It’s as simple as that.

This was inevitable once social media arrived and newsmakers didn’t need the traditional media to communicate with their audiences. Demagogues have always done this. It’s inevitable that people like Trump will avoid subjecting themselves to tough questions. And it’s no great loss that we don’t have the daily lie-fest. But we’ll still have people calling them to account and the person who can tell the most persuasive story will win. I don’t think that’s going to change. So fuck Sarah and fuck Trump. If you can’t make a case to the public beyond your idiot base then keep your goddamn mouths shut.

You might spare some vitriol for the Trump administration. Just saying.

The *President" wouldn’t know decorum if it bit him in the a§§.

Keep on attacking Sarah…meanwhile, no briefings, no good press. Aren’t YOU the ‘smart’ ones.

Fake news, fake news! President Trump has the very finest decorums, gold-leafed! Haven’t you seen all of the pictures? Many people say his penthouse has the fanciest decorums anyone has ever heard of. Not like those pedestrian, commoner decorums the Obamas had. Drab (or boring)! They made us look weak and poor, when the Queen visited the whole world was laughing!

Yes and they are singling out news orgs and specific reporters and vilifying them and targeting them with lawsuits and threats. Journos are great but we see their limitations and inability to operate against basically criminal elements. They have ethics and limits to what they can do for themselves and to other people. Limits to how much they can defend themselves against concerted attacks. Journos also cannot keep repeating and harping on a story or promote activism. I really wish we had other organizations with legal capabilities to augment and protect journalism and keep pounding on these crooks and get crowds to show up and film it all and then file lawsuits against the crooks when they pull illegal shit to try to evade or shut you down.

Case in point (below)…the RW doesn’t rely on journalism or truth or facts or science or common sense. They have soldiers. Imagine if we had our own Flying Monkeys, but instead they WERE based on facts and science. What would happen if our own soldiers were able to take the pressure off real journalists by doing the skirmishing and activism and exposure…and let the journos write it all up for the record. Also, journos can’t start prosecutions and legal investigations…that is where some legal muscle is necessary. My guess is the RW noise machine becomes a different beast when a crowd-funded liberal PR adversary steps onto the field with some legal muscle and a war-chest.

PR firm RunSwitch, co-run by adviser to Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) Scott Jennings, has played a significant role in quelling the outrage over a video that at first appeared to show a MAGA hat-wearing teen disrespectfully crowding the space of and smirking at a Native American man.

I think that’s both happening and evolving to happen more but it’s in a huge state of flux right now. But as I never tire of pointing out even if it seems futile, how did we here become so hip and knowing about Trump’s criminality and the fecklessness of the media if it weren’t for–anyone? THE MEDIA
