Gee, I don’t know about this. On the one hand I demand that Guantanamo Bay be shut down immediately and all of it’s prisoners be released, but on the other hand I demand that the United States be 100% sure that the prisoners won’t do anything bad ever again, but on the third hand I demand that the United States completely abandon it’s surveillance apparatus. Maybe we can just get a unicorn to solve all of our problems?

And also on the tracking front, what’s the over/under there was a drone following the guys who dropped Berghdal after the chopper left?

I was thinking the very same thing. Let’s see who they approach and who approaches them. At some point, I can see they would become more dangerous to the Taliban than worth alive.

… yes … have been wondering if there is a bit more than meets the eye here … maybe the paramount objective was not exactly to get Bergdahl home - but to create a plausible means for releasing these pieces of “bait” back into the wild…
