Sanders denied it, so it looks like Trump did in fact manage to push Rosenstein out.
WH: No âWillingnessâ By Trump Or White House To âPushâ Rosenstein Out
Yep. Two weeks sounds about right.
You can almost time these exits by the comments that get released on tRump appointees by his staff.
No willingness to push him out⌠but we are glad to see him go.
I have the feeling that no Press Secretary has spent less face to face time with a President than Sarah and Donald.
They donât even seem to spend much time on the phone since more often than not they tell completely different stories, or at best widely divergent versions of the same story.
Basically, for purposes of Sanders interpretation, the mean time to an event is inversely proportional to vehemence with which Sanders denies that the event is going to take place.
"I donât think thereâs any willingness by the President or the White House to push him out,â she continued. âMy guess is that he is making room for the new attorney general to build a team that he wants around him.â
UhmmmâŚtake another guess.
In the alternative - and I think this is more likely the case - what Sanders said here is of a piece with the campaign to get him to resign.
The suggestion that a career DoJ prosecutor and administrator for whatever reason told the Trump White House he intended to leave his career in a couple of years - heâd have been 52 then as he turns 54 this coming Sunday - seems very strange indeed.
Given our several years of experience with how the Trump campaign and the Trump White House operate with hirings and firings, this here sure looks like their conducting a very public âQuit now and get what you deserve which is nothingâ campaign, with him really knowing no more or any earlier than we all do.
It all most makes me think that the end game here is for the us lawyers defending the russians are stalling proceedings until barr gets confirmed and cleans the floor with the entire mueller investigationâŚwhile mitch sits on the side lines and they cant bipartisan support for protecting mueller from being firedâŚ
I would suggest that Rosenstein knows whatâs coming and wants no part of it. Some attempt to recover his rapidly waning legal career.
Would love if Pelosi could get him on the House investigation committees after he leaves the admin.
Just like a Tide chart. You can see the ebb and flow, just as you can see the ebb and flow of her eyebrows.
Literally everything your boss has done says otherwise
So trump will take credit for firing him, When???
When he thinks he plugged all the holes and has yes men in all the right places
Dear White House.
Rosenstein is A) smarter than you are, and B) tougher than you are,and C) was burned once by you. Heâs not going to take your hint and resign.
The ânewâ AG wonât be in long enough to assemble a staff, if he gets confirmed.
Muller is Coming.
Regards (not the Best)
America
So, Sarah, as usual, is obviously lying. Rosenstein was forced out⌠Admit it Sarah, just admit it.
I think he has approved already some Indictments that are currently sealed and wants to be clear out of dodge before they are unsealed. I suspect at least a few have unindicted co-conspirators including individual 1.
No doubt that when these are unsealed and/or when Muellerâs report is released, Rosenstein will be called to testify before Congress about it (perhaps in impeachment proceedings). It will be easier for him if he is out of the administration and out before Trump fires him.
Hamhock, I have no reason to expect that you are saying anything truthful. Rosenstein may be leaving but I strongly doubt it is willingly so. There is every reason to expect you are lying yet again as to Rodâs reasons.
My faith will be somewhat restored should what passes as the current occupant be indicted, arrested and frog marched off to jail.
Of course this was not a forced ejectionâŚ
