That any judges are being confirmed is an injustice while we have an administration that is possibly corrupted by foreign influence. Given that judges are lifetime appointments, ALL nominations should be put on hold until the Muehller investigation is settled and public.

Boy, “distancing” and “Trump” are two words which are increasingly being found in close proximity to each other.

Besides the most obvious trait, does anybody know exactly how Katsas is related to Hans Georg Schultz?

I think the next question from the Judiciary committee needs to be then what was he doing? If he was employed by the government and not working on these in related issues as “Katsas has served as a deputy counsel to President Trump, working directly under White House Counsel Don McGahn” then what was the focus of his work?
If he was just riding easy street on the taxpayers dime, I would think that would disqualify him for any federally appointed position.
There are very firm time keeping rules in Civil Service and Defense contracting, so I would imagine the same would be in place for this position within the executive branch. I know lawyers can “get away” with a bunch of latitude what is and what is not work, but simply what was the nature of his work, and how did he avoid the Flynn, Bannon, Comey, Russia issues while serving in the executive branch?
