So hereās how GOP talkingpoints pass around: WHāDOJāFOXāCongress GOPādeplorable base(with many interactions in between)
The very structure of dictatorship.
Hmmmmā¦interesting that all of a sudden letters are mysteriously surfacing.
Sounds like somebody somewhere is getting tired of listening to the lies floating around and has decided to āunredactā a bunch of stuff for the public.
Maybe the Chinese are in on itā¦?
Had Mueller and the SCO reached a decision to indict Trump on obstruction charges, the WH would be condemning them for overreach, i.e. acting outside of DOJ policy. They are trying to have it both ways.
Flood and his gang merit no presumption of innocence.
āIn closing its investigation, the SCO (special counselās office) had only one job ā to āprovide the attorney general with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the special counselā¦Yet the one thing the SCO was obligated to do is the very thing the SCO ā intentionally and unapologetically ā refused to do.ā
The Trump administration seems to have mistaken Bob Mueller for a doormat.
Keep whacking the hornetās nest, dumbasses.
Yes just like a sitting President canāt be indicted by the DOJ, and a private citizen like Trump canāt be investigated by congress.
Maybe someone - oh, letās say a Congressional committee - should ask Mueller what his determination about any of Trumpās crimes would be absent the DOJ guidance about not indicting a sitting president. And just for the heck of it, letās not limit those crimes to the numerous incidents of obstruction.
I wonder what his answer would be?
Not true.
I think the major point of all this thatās being missed is the idea that our Justice system, as well as our political institutions, seem to be wholly incapable of holding the rich and powerful accountable for their (criminal) actions.
So many people have lost faith that Trump will ever face any consequences for any of this. Iām beginning to wonder too ā I hope that I am wrong.
Oops, looks like Barrās appearance yesterday was a disaster so now there is a need to distract. Blame Mueller for Barr getting his lunch handed to him. Barr either resigns or he is impeached. Senator Kamala Harris touched a nerve and made Barr look like the Trumper fool that he is. Too bad, so sad, taking your whining elsewhere.
The Haters of America ā both GOPers and Russian officials ā want to destroy our country.
They are succeeding.
I do notice that there is no talk of firing Mueller now. Nor of returning him to the FBI, now that the SCO is finished.
Now, why might that be? Wondering minds want to knowā¦
William Barr is a disgrace to the Department of Justice, the office of Attorney General, and the Constitution and the Law. And Emmet Flood is right up there with him.
They should both be disbarred.
Thereās been talk that sheās the Trump slayer. Since we got our first taste of the kind of government-funded tactics Barr and Trump will bring to bear on the nominee (Bidenās son involved in the Ukraine crap, that Harris was alluding to of course), we do indeed need someone up to the taskāemotionally and physically, not to mention intellectually. If Joe is the one, I fear he might not have it all. I DONāT CARE WHO IT IS at this point - just so the person can bring it. Imo, Elizabeth Warren would kick his ass in every way, but I donāt think sheās got a chance.
I thought this was even more fun.
Could not agree more! And you know how effective she was because Lindsay had to step in and save him.
It seems the entire administration cannot get it through their thick skulls Mueller could not recommend Trump be charged with obstruction because a sitting President cannot be indicted and tried for a crime in civil court. And Mueller didnāt view his mission as one wherein he needed to take make determinations assuring Trump would be prosecuted post-Presidency. WTF is so hard to understand about that?
