This is already old information. Thursday’s vote has been called off and there will be a public hearing with Kavanaugh and Ford next Monday.
But let’s discuss who should take the lead in questioning the Kav. I think I’d vote for Angus King, he’s a lawyer, he speakers well and with authority, and I’d like to see a white male go after this slime ball.
He insists he was not there …wonder if he will swear to that under oath … or if he has some nonsensical word salad to avoid making a self incriminating statement.
At the same time, hope she has the date, location, 5 people to corroborate her testimony, and photos showing his drunk ass puking off the back porch - or equally damning facts.
King is good. Kamala Harris is a former prosecutor and AG of California and her questioning in this hearing has been awesome. So has Mazie Hirono. Is one Republican going to take the lead on Ford? I kinda suspect the whole pack of wild dogs will want their turn, including Hatch, Cornyn the Dim and others. So I dont see why the Democrats should be limited to one leading questioner on Kavanaugh.
I just think if the Dems lead with Harris the Reps will call her a hysterical witch. And you’re right Hirono is good, she’s sorta silent and deadly.

I just caught part of this on the news, but apparently Kavanaugh’s wingman during the attempted rape, Mark Judge, has come fully to Kavanaugh’s defense.
He also wrote a book, which may decrease his credibility just a tad…

If I were him, the quicker the better. In Trumplandia, a lot can will happen; more women may come forward (the incident Ms. Ford relates sounds pre-meditated, and likely was tried more than once by the “boys”), Ronan Farrow is said to have the Trump Access Hollywood Tapes… what else could go wrong?

since his handlers were nearly instantly able to publish a list of 65 women who would attest to his character - it appears that they had ample lead time - probably originating from Kavanaugh offering up items that could be used against him - and so the handlers went to work building firewalls … with ample time, they probably were able to figure out which weekend in the summer of 1982 this party was held… and then fabricate an alibi that would make it appear like he could simply not have been there… maybe it now suddenly turns out that Kavanaugh & a friend were in Boston for a long week end … or they went to Virginia Beach or Ocean City and stayed with a friend ( who unfortunately passed away 3 years ago - so can’t verify)
