White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters on Monday that Republicans will be in a “really great position” if people vote based on policy and the economy.
If that's true why does her boss want them to vote with their Brown-Blackphobia as their paramount concern?
Which makes me wonder why the hell did the GOP run on trying to scare us that we’re being invaded by some women and kids in the middle of Mexico?
WH: > If People Vote On Policy, Economy, GOP ‘In A Really Great Position’
If they vote on the economy they are in a great position to get 1% of the vote.
Because PP finds it boring to talk about the economy. He and the GOP are generally really bad at making people feel good and hopeful. They are, on the other hand, excellent at fear and hate mongering. That’s their entire wheelhouse. She’s actually right for once, though. They’d all be doing a lot better if they hadn’t doubled and tripled down on hate.
“…Republicans will be in a “really great position” if people vote based on policy and the economy.”
Which implies, if people vote based on your vile stupid ass boss Trump, Republicans are done for.
If people had voted on policy and the economy in 2016, the country would be in a great position under president Hillary. So we know that’s not why people vote the way they do these days.
Hate to tell ya Glowery McGlowerface but millions and millions of us are going to be voting on saving our republic from your disgusting evil incompetent pig of a boss who’s much more a dire threat to the economy than in any way a builder of it. And that’s not going to help you much, sorry. : (
In other words:
If people completely ignore the appalling things the embarassment of a President says and does on an hourly basis, and would just stick their heads in the sand to hide from the hate and violence he foments, we’d look really great!
Anyone who might not have seen the “Carnage in America” missive Rump gave January 2017 is surely getting it now.
Let’s just hope that 48 hours from now you’ve been proven right.
Yeah well you didn’t campaign on the Economy or policy and neither did any of the other GOP. It has been all scare all the time even with regard to policy,
He knows his poor white voters haven’t really be helped by his policies and the economy like the rich?
“On the other hand, if the vote were a referendum on my misleading press conferences and racist dog-whistling, then we’ve royally screwed the pooch.”
If they vote understading the assholes currently in charge are destroying the US need to go, the GOP will be swamped.
Sarah, I completely agree, Republicans will be in a great position if Americans vote based on policy … if, by “great position,” you mean “bent over and fucked sideways.”
In 2010, Barack Obama had pulled the country and the world back from the brink of a devastating depression. He had given us policy in March that same year, in the form of the ACA. He was rewarded with horrible losses in the 2010 midterms. So, policy and the economy don’t guarantee anything. Surely Dump, with no good policies for the 99% and an economy he lucked into (this is the guy with multiple bankruptcies including a casino), should be rewarded a congressional flip so complete, he’ll cry into his KFC bucket. IF there’s any justice.
Why aren’t Republicans running on their policies and the economy? And she fears people are voting on Trump instead? dbath.
If People Vote On Policy, Economy, GOP 'In A Really Great Position'
uh … sorry …
I’m a little distracted right now …
What was that you said again ?? …
the GOP’s got a little …’ thing ’ … on it’s lip …
Hillary won the overall popular vote by 2.8 million and would have won the electoral vote if only some 38k voters in three disgruntled states have switched. Don’t think Trump is the wave of the future for anyone but the fascist right that follows the Lee Atwater school of campaigning.
