Discussion: WH Doesn't Deny Reports It Knew About Allegations Of Ex-Staffer's Abuse

He was aware, but not fully aware?

“Oh, sounds like my top aide might have slapped his wife around a few times, I probably shouldn’t pry”

Kelly had not seen the pictures but he knew there were allegations of abuse. The FBI told someone in the WH. Perhaps it was Don McGahn who failed to relay the seriousness of the domestic violence? Kelly knew but was willing to let it go until the pictures and blog posts -second wife- were publicized.

Birds of a feather?

He kept repeating the shock of WH staff and this was not the Rob Porter they had come to know. It is because they did not care.

Everyone in the WH lies with such ease.

In other words “we’re not going to believe those bitches unless we see the bruises”

Reason #599,235 why the Republican Party never gets to lecture anyone about standing up for family values ever again.

Of course they knew. It was the major qualification that made him a shoe-in and allowed him to beat the competition (among others) for the position.

That’s sarcasm, but in light of the fact that such things render a person COMPROMISED as far as national security clearance is concerned, it would not be surprising to find out that people compromised by such things are looked upon as desirable by Trump and his Russian masters.

Of course they knew; they just didn’t care.

Porter couldn’t get a security clearance and the FBI told them why. This was all fine until the story broke in the media. The plan then was apparently he would ‘resign’ with an indefinite departure date that was intended to be sometime in 2020 or when he was able to be placed in another job with a Republican.

Then the photo happened. A picture truly speaks a thousand words.

April Ryan questioned that if the WH was so shocked and concerned about domestic violence why was that office eliminated. I confess to not hearing all of the question but I think that was the gist. Raj could not answer her. April asks great questions btw.

Yeah, most of them in this instance required a $1 in the jar.

As has been noted time and again, Comrade Cockholster and his Coterie of Curs doesn’t care about what crimes people in his inner circle commit; they care about what the public finds out about.

Horsepucky. You acted like two year olds. You knew but didn’t do a damn thing. You were REALLY REALLY sorry when you got caught.

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

If General Kelly had a problem working with wife beaters he would have never lasted past his initial Marine Corps enlistment.

She broke the story that Trumped tried to fire Mueller. Last summer.

Update: Link: ‘Mass hysteria’: CNN’s April Ryan claims White House staffers are freaking out over possible Mueller firing.
