Ban the bumpstock but keep the gun, bullets and the ability to fire 30 or more rounds a minute.
Yeah trumpter gave up a lot with that brainstorm.
Needs vacation now.
āJust a few moments ago, I signed a memorandum directing the attorney general to propose regulations to ban all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns,ā he said.
What the 50 plus dead and 500 wounded wasnāt enough to do it 6 months ago?
Or did it take a bunch of committed teenagers ?
What a fucking weasel
As usual, Trump and Sarah Hamhock are dancing around one of the key issues. Yes, bump-stocks and other adaptations of semi-automatic weapons into automatic ones should be outlawed. Still, that does not address one of the key issues: Why should assault weapons such as the Ar-15, which with its high muzzle velocity is specifically designed to kill people still allowed? It is a weapon specifically manufactured to be an anti-personnel weapon.
Dr Ernest Moore, a trauma surgeon for 40 years with considerable experience treating gunshot wounds, recently published an article describing the damage that assault rifles do to the human body as opposed to other more conventional weapons. These differences, which are measurable, distinguish assault weapons from other hunting and personal security weapons. The article is worth reading:
Question Huck-
How in the fuck do you sleep at night?
āAgain, thatās what the next several days and weeks will be, to have conversations and to see what this process looks like, and to see what areas we can help make changes to and in what places that we can do better.ā
āI think my positions are going to be what the people in this room come up with,ā Trump said. āIf they come to me with things that Iām not in love with, Iām going to do it, because I respect them.ā
Same song, different verse.
Minutes ago Orange made remarks about guns someone else prepared.
Well, the answer to that question is easy - Donald Trump would support the kind of gun legislation the last man whispering into his ear supported.
Teatroll Rosetta Stone: āThe NRA hasnāt told me yet.ā
ā¦
Oh waitā¦
"The NRA endorsed such a move following the Las Vegas massacre, saying in a statement last year that it ābelieves that devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations.ā
āāJust a few moments ago, I signed a memorandum directing the attorney general to propose regulations to ban all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns,ā he said.ā
SCRATCH THATā¦THE NRA DID TELL HIM WHAT HIS POSITION IS.
Heās too fucking stupid to have a position on anything except lying, stealing and pussy grabbing.
Oh, and collusion.
Unless this bloated sack of gristle actually says something of value, what is the point of continually reporting her bullshit?
Not hard to game this out. Dems now push for more than just a bumpstock ban and the GOP yells and screams about āgive them and inch and they try to take a mile your guns away!!!ā Wonāt matter how āmoderateā it is or that Trump just said through his spokesliar that heād be willing to reinforce background checks in some manner. Nope. Heās throwing out this false offer solely as cover for later claiming victimhood when running from demands for more.
Screw it, lets just change the name of the White House to Dodge City, with Sheriff Hamhock dozing away on the jobā¦
Slavery was legal in the Constitution. It wasnāt even an Amendment, like the Right to bear arms.
So unless youāre planning to make Slavery Great Again, then we can certainly do something about guns.
Attacking the kids-
I expected nothing less.
WH Dodges Questions About What Kind Of Gun Legislation Trump Would Support
Just like the DACA solutions that Trump supported. None.
āSupportā implies effort, work. He doesnāt support anything but the cheeseburger heās currently lifting to his gaping maw during āexecutive timeā.
Heāll sign it if you put it in front of him, but donāt expect any heavy lifting.
With the bumpstock directive, I think we can safely say that Trump will support whatever legislation the NRA gives him permission to support.
The points he is making are simple, but very VERY important. The AR-15 was specifically designed to hamper battlefield triage. From what Iāve read, prior weapons like the M1 would often go right through and leave a hole, meaning not all kinetic energy is transferred to the wound and body cavity. While a grievous injury, it presents a wound that is easier to triage and deal with in a combat situation than if youāre left with ground meat. Soooo, they got the bright idea that leaving a mess instead, including a smaller caliber bullet that flies apart on impactā¦or at least mushrooms quite nicelyā¦then gets stuck in the body cavityā¦maybe even having traveled around a bit insideā¦including one or more shards of debris would impart ALL of its kinetic energy to wounding. Thereās a reason pictures of the wounds from Vietnamās test runs were kept top secret until the late 80ās.
If anyone was offended. . .
Asked about the email, Harrison said: āIf my aide disparaged a student from Parkland who is grieving than I will deal most strongly with my aide. ā¦ Clearly it was inappropriate for him to send that.ā
