Discussion: WH: Comey's Email Investigation Actions Were 'Atrocities'

So did reporters ask “Okay, so why wait 6 months to fire him for stuff that was so ‘atrocious?’”

Yes, that’s our view… because it threw the election to a person wholly unfit in temperament, intelligence, honesty, and character! To a person who has been on the payroll of Russian oligarchs for decades!

As I am thinking about Comey firing, the parallels with Watergate are astounding. It is not just the cover up and attempted retaliation. It was Republican party then, it is a Republican party now. It was a break-in into Democratic headquarters then, it is an electronic break-in into Democratic headquarters now. The main difference is that this time Republicans used the historic adversary to do their job for them. And, of course, back then they at least went along with the investigation – though we now will forever have to wonder whether this was because Republican party was different then or simply because they were in the minority.

“I think also having a letter like the one that he received and having that conversation that outlined the basic, just, atrocities in circumventing the chain of command in the Department of Justice,” she said.

Frankly I was done with Comey when he invited the Khmer Rouge to wreak havoc at the Denny's in Arlington last New Year's Eve.

They just can’t stop making offensive comparisons to the Holocaust. One would get the distinct impression that this White House, Trump, Bannon, Breitbart and white supremacists generally do not believe the Holocaust really happened.

Have we reached the phase where Trump asks Kissinger to get down on his knees and pray with him yet?

Or does that come after drunken Trump wandering the halls at night yelling at portraits of past Presidents?

(PS: Is it just me, or is Henry actually shrinking?)

Trump doesn’t drink and he doesn’t recognize any authority beyond himself.

Well, it took Trump three weeks to fire an outright traitor, I guess for being plain inept six months is about right.
