True story: the one time in my life I ate at a Wendy’s, I got food poisoning. We’re talking full-on projectile vomiting, bile, then dry heaves. As sick as I have ever been in my life. To this day the Wendy’s logo makes me feel queasy.

Fucking old people. Did this story come from the ‘Facepage’?

Pepe was popular on 4Chan, not so much Reddit. And was used as a both a leftist and right wing meme for a very long time, Pepe was politically neutral on how it was used. Hell, it was MOSTLY not even used as a politically meme and would usually be seen as a sad relationship fail meme or something funny. Then a few of the alt-right people on r/The_Donald at Reddit started to use it for their memes and bam, suddenly Pepe is the official meme of hitler to a bunch of people.

Even the creator of Pepe (a liberal) asked in a famous post last summer, that everyone should ‘take Pepe back’ and use it for whatever non-right wing thing they wanted. But nope, not here on TPM’s, ‘blame the kids and their memes for grandma-pantssuit-Nixon’s loss, geriatrics Facebook page’ I guess. Is TPM the one out of touch?..No, no, it must be the children that are.
