This is simply an illegal incursion, or even an invasion, into our country. We should meet it as the threat to our way of life that it is. These people need to be repelled by deadly force if need be. It is time America realized that the rest of the world views us as a dumping ground for unwanteds that will destroy us.

In the LA Times today was a photo of four or five young, adult Honduran men on a pick up waving the Honduran flag on their way to the US border. Really bad optics guaranteed to enrage the base. I’ll guarantee that they will compare this to ISIS rolling into communities with its warped ideology. I just don’t want Dems running for office to go to the mattresses on this. Maybe I’m overthinking it.

They have the right to come here after the US gov’t screwed up their country. During the cold war, the US Ambassador called the shots; selected the leaders, gave the oligarchs control and lobotomized the rule of law in the name of fighting communism. When the cold war ended, the US abandoned the country to their own device.

On the other side, a large group of people flee death and despair because being put in an American jail is preferable to staying where they are. You ever get caught up in a situation where you know with absolute clarity what is right and at the same time you know it will be misconstrued by every idiot with a misinformed opinion?

The real issue is that all Central American countries cannot control their own fertility, and have grown in population by 4x since 1970. So, yes, feeding 4x people on the same area is a problem. That is not our problem. The Catholic Church refuses to allow population control. Result: Starvation, competition for dwindling resources, gangs stealing stuff from others.
And as to their “rights”, only a complete moron would make that statement that they have right to invade. We have the right to use any method to stop the invasion.
