SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Tens of thousands of people in Puerto Rico will face water rationing due to increasingly dry conditions in a U.S. territory still struggling to recover from Hurricane Maria.

Gov. Ricardo Rossello said Monday that seven municipalities in the island’s northwest region could be without water for up to 24 hours at a time starting next week.

I'd suggest we step in and help them, buy I've read our foreign assistance funds are tapped out for this fiscal year.

Between this, the wildfires in California, doing nothing about mass killings from gun violence and ripping children from their mothers’ arms at the border while sticking them in cages or putting immigrants in some kind of deep freeze lockup…makes me the most angry about this fucker. tRump is cruel, vindictive and completely negligent as CoC.

Sheesh, how can they have a water shortage? The place is surrounded by it!

Let’s take that money and put it to good use building a wall to keep brown people out.

Speculation is Trump intends to redirect funds from various disaster relief agencies, specifically funds originally intended to help residents of California and Puerto Rico deal with their multitude of problems, and use that money for his wall. He hates both California and Puerto Rico (liberals and spics, in his mind) so it’s a twofer for him.

But, hey, perhaps we could spring for a few rolls of paper towels, throw them to the crowds of Mexican looking people, Roman style :scream:

If he abuses his power this way, there will surely be a big legal challenge. It is frightening to realize the powers that have been shifted to the presidency.

Which he’ll relish. It’ll provide the opportunity to vilify and demonize a wide array of targets, everyone involved in the legal actions against him. Lawyers, Democratic legislators, immigrants, selfish pinko libtards unwilling to give up their disaster relief for the greater good. It’s just the sort of fight he loves to pick.

And money that would be used to help restore that water will be swiped by Trump to build the wall.

Ain’t Democracy grand? [/s]

Trump: “Yet another mess left to me by Obama! Sad.”

Wasn’t that the very first plank in the G.O.P. platform? It’s what he was elected to do.

This would be gawd-damned awful even if Puerto Rico were not a US territory and its population US citizens but, given that, it is a gross violation of oath of office and an ongoing crime against humanity, and the ruddy sphincter currently playing at potus should be swung by the nards over a cesspool filled with maggots until every penny that unhappy island needs for full recovery is delivered or tissue separation occurs, whichever comes first!

To state the obvious: Trump is all about being president and using the advantages, and not about doing the job.

My sincere hope that simply being president is proving far more difficult and painful than he thought it would be when he took the job.
