Discussion: Watchdog Group Accuses Ross Of Criminal Conflicts Of Interest In Lengthy Complaint

Secretary Ross has not violated any conflict of interest law or regulation. He has not participated personally and substantially in, nor taken any action in regard to a particular matter that would have had a direct and predictable effect on his financial investments. He continues to follow the guidance of Commerce Department ethics officials regarding the matters in which he is personally involved. He has divested a very substantial part of the investments he held when he assumed the office of Secretary, and he has pledged to divest other remaining holdings even though he is not obligated to do so.

Shorter Ross spokesman: “Yeah, he did it. So What? Whadayah gonna do about it?”

Ross is looking like just another Trumpian crook. He is among those his boss claims are the best but just like his boss he is only an incompetent criminal.

Ross is deeply corrupt - he was involved with the Bank of Cyprus, the bank through which the Russians were laundering money.

You had it right about all but the incompetence. His history indicates that he’s a very competent criminal. Former partners have accused him of stealing tens of millions of dollars from them.

On the upside, Ross enjoys the unwavering support of the powerful interest group, “Jowls and Wattles Fetishists of America.”

This guy is corrupt as hell, but who in this maladministration isn’t? Take him to court. Only way at this point these motherfuckers will face justice for their unscrupulous business practices and greedy acts of self-dealing.

I’m so sick of the mess these people have created. It wasn’t enough that they made sure to financially find ways to benefit themselves but they had to change US policies in so many instances to accomplish the goal of enriching themselves.

DeVos is doing the same shit with the private student loan business. Mnuchin is doing it with who can secretly donate to Republicans in order to maintain power without being openly transparent to the rest of us. Zinke is changing land use policy across the country and exempting himself in the process wherever he has land or grants favors to friends that have mutually benefitted him in the past. The list goes on and on and on…Take them all to court. Congress won’t do shit. Not this Congress anyway.

I’d be hard pressed to write 115 page complaint over nothing. When you’re the Campaign Legal Center and have as your impact statement the “CLC has been advancing democracy through law,” then I don’t think they’re messing around.

Now with that said, does anyone else fear that if all these yahoos get booted the next bunch will be worse, much worse?

I look at his picture and all I can think is “Gollum! Gollum!”

This should not come as a shock to anyone:

Four of Ross’s six former lieutenants are suing the commerce secretary for robbing them back when they worked together.

Truly despicable grifters are running our government…all the while INSISTING what great patriots they are. I think it’s time to make them all ‘MEN WITHOUT A COUNTRY’…let Putin have them.

To really get an idea of how detailed this report is, check out the section on Navigator. They basically traced every dollar out of Ross’s wallet, and which account it ended up in. Very impressive work.
