Discussion for article #229026
See that red light on the camera? That means theyâre recording your little tantrum.
Youâre welcome.
Didnât know Wasilla Kardashian had a sister living in New Hampshire.
Sheâs just pissed that she missed trick or treat because she waited with Linus all night for the Great Pumpkin to rise up, again.
Well, at least itâs a better reason for a riot by white kids than the one they had at Penn State.
To be fair, I feel bad for her. Itâs not her fault this happened and she was just trying to do nice things for her community. She was upset and maybe made herself look a little stupid, but Iâll be caught dead before I give the little news-twerp the benefit of the doubt. We didnât see any of their exchange that might have taken place off camera and one might wonder why he felt the need to report on the riot somewhere the riot apparently wasnât happeningâŚother than his own cowardice.
Carpetbagger-Bagger Scott Brown was at the Pumpkin Festival grifting for the youth vote. Why did he not show leadership and stop the melee? Failure of leadership! Failed the cops and the pumpkins! White on orange violence was outtaâ control!
Orange IS the new black! (*It had to be said!)
The Keene Pumpkin Festival will be Scott Brownâs Katrina!!!
** âHeckovaâ job Brownie!â** _____ âbqhatevwrâ dude!

I have to agree. Unless she was the one that coordinated things so that âfree beer nightâ coincided with âsouvenier pumpkin smashing bat nightâ I think she got kind of screwed here.
Considering that âcubâ reporter probably has not been doing remotes for very long, he kept his composure (compared to limited expectations for a rural newscast unprepared to discuss something like this) relatively well.
His language sounded a little grasping and hyperbolic, but hey, he was probably in a comm class < 4 years ago and has been covering roadside plowing schedules and âpumpkin festsâ in New Hampshire for a while.
Also worth noting when comparing this media response to that of Ferguson: The face of âauthorityâ here is a shrill middle-aged woman dressed in a pumpkin-colored sweatshirt. Maybe the press doesnât naturally upgrade to a more adversarial tone if theyâre arguing with someone in tennis shoes instead of heavy boots.
All he was doing was covering a pumpkin festival, but his coverageâŚ

âŚgot squashed.
YEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!
You are a truly generous person @Sniffit. *no snark intended
Itâs not surprising! THOSE white people turn violent at the drop of a hat, given the dysfunction they grow up in. How many grew up in a fatherless home? Huh?
~meh!~
When asked to comment on the Great Keene Pumpkin Riot, Cliven Bundy said, âI ainât a racist or nothing, but I want to tell you one more thing I know about the frat boy! Itâs just a fact that theyâre all lazy takers, livinâ on government scholarships and loans. Bunchaâ thugs. Itâs part of their culture.â
I thought that was alcohol and date rape?
They think theyâre entitled to express themselves violently whenever they get the itch. If thatâs how they feel, why donât they all join the cops?
Oh! My! Fu*kinâ! Gourd!
âOhâŚthe pumpkinityââ
That doesnât seem likely. He doesnât look like heâs more than 15. He looks more like a summer intern who forgot to go back to school.
Anyway, why wasnât the festival organizer protected by a line of cops in riot gear? If this kid had tried that in Ferguson he would have been pepper-sprayed and in the pokey.
LOLâŚThat âŚalso/too!
Hereâs the kind of thing I was looking for. Letâs see if the worldâs shittiest commenting system will allow it.

Iâd like to know about this tear gas that has gotten âbroken outâ since I have yet to see a single Keene cop wearing a gas mask.
I am still trying to figure out why I need to be upset about this exchange.
