Spicer the pooper scooper!

After Trump’s disastrous CIA speech, Spicer will declare Trump was off his meds.

Nuremberg wants its 1933 crowd back. Leni Riefenstahl born 80 years too early but at least Hitler paid her up front.

My clock indicates its 5:35 DC time. Oh yeah, “Make America late again,” I forgot.

Why should we spoken to by the monkey when we can be spoken to by the organ grinder?

On April 15, 2009, somewhere between 250K (according to Grover Norquist) and 311K (Nate Silver estimate) people turned out across the nation in the largest of the Tea Party rallies. Those rallies there the result of months of huffing and fluffing by Fox News and right wing media and orchestrated by an elaborate and expensive black PR campaign paid for by a handful of would-be oligarchs.

The MSM endlessly wanked itself into rapturous pressgasms over the new, fresh, original, totally grassroots and spontaneous Teeeeee Parteeeee, the freshest, most originalist, most amazingest protest movement EVAH!!! over these rallies.

Today, a day after Trump’s inauguration, mass protests organized by amateurs on short notice turned out, based on the estimates I’m seeing, 2.5 million people. So far, the MSM has been compelled to take notice, but I’m not seeing the same rapt, rapturous, gushing tone. But know this. This protest, and the ones that are going to follow if we don’t lose interest or succumb to despair, are going to make a difference.

Richard Nixon and his administrate made a great show of being unmoved and unaffected by the mass demonstrations against the Vietnam War. In fact, we later learned, that those protests became a driving preoccupation, an obsession of his entire administration.

Richard Nixon had more issues than the National Geographic, but he didn’t have fragile ego Narcissistic Personality Syndrome.Trump craves adulation above all. He feels deep psychic wounds that drive him into uncontrollable rage when he is offered les majeste. These protests, the fact that the crowds dwarfed his inaugural crowd, and all of the mass protests that will be coming later down the road, are going to drive him crazy. For real honest to god crazy, not metaphorical crazy. These protests may well be the thing that lead to a hasty invocation of the 25th Amendment to pry his short fingers off the nuclear codes.

And these protests are going to scare the living shit out of at least a fragment of the Republicans in Congress who’ve been trying to gaslight the MSM into buying in to the idea that they have a mandate from the Umerican peepul to do for America what Brownbeck has done for Kansas.

Yeah. Over the long run, if we keep it up, these mass demonstrations will make a difference.

Our nation is a forest set alight by arsonists, and we’re the Hot Shot crew. Much will be lost. Much damage will be done. Many lives will be, quite literally, destroyed by the madness they manage to unleash and we have to accept that because we can’t stop it all. We’re fighting a forest fire, not a dumpster fire. We can’t put it out directly. We can only build a firebreak perimeter around it, weep for the trees and animals inside it that will be destroyed before it burns itself out, rejoice for those we save and then, when it’s over, plant seedlings in the ashes.

Spicer: Media taken to task for false reporting of the inauguration. Wow… having to soothe the thin-skinned beast. Must be reading Trump’s words. Saying the largest attendance in history!

He is attacking the media for false reports on crowd sizes yesterday - and is already hot under the collar even though he isn’t being questioned (calling it shameful that folks tried to dampen the “ecstatic enthusiasm” for the inauguration.) I would like to tell him that it never looks good when you have to explain and justify.

Spicer won’t last three months. Won’t be able to take the heat.

This is just an astonishing attempt to deny observable reality. He’s Squealer from Animal Farm.

OMG. The first remarks from the first press statement are whines about two tweets from reporters in a very belligerent voice. Spicer is going to be eaten alive. This is surreal.

It’s also a threat to the press that they “are watching”.

Attacking the media - attacking the Democrats. Doing more yelling than talking. Somebody is lying.

and no reference at all to the protests today. . . . . so much for the Republican strategists interviewed earlier today who claimed that Donald Trump is so sincere in representing all Americans that he will listen to the protestors. They’re just going to pretend those 1 million+ folks don’t exist.

And what will the press do next?

Well, that was the second bizarre address today. Trump at CIA and now Spicer defending Trump’s honor. OMG… make it stop!

Good “Squirrel” distraction. Good dose of bizarro world report that pretended the nation is not coming unglued around him.
