Good piece by Josh wrt why the econ guy was front and center today. Hassett noted downward trends until shortly after the election. This upward trajectory -he claimed- was a result of Trump and Trump policies. Trump needs to feel superior to President Obama and this guy provided the ego stroke. So per this guy Trump did not inherit a growing economy. He created it. GAH!
I believe I will take a pass on listening to or watching the bleatings of Ma Hamhock today since I am fairly well convinced her pronouncements will not stand up to even the gentlest of examinations. Someone else will hafta take this bullet for the team. I’m happy to watch from the sidelines and throw verbal potshots with my laptop after she is done.
