Discussion: WATCH LIVE: Press Conference To Announce Ferguson Grand Jury Decision

Discussion for article #230530

I feel sick that this has been turned into a made-for-TV event…like a fucking sporting event…or worse, like shock and awe. The spectacle of waiting in anticipation for this fucking prosecutor during ā€œprime timeā€ has a way of inflaming the crowd all by itself…and for no good justifiable reason. This is just disgusting in the way he’s devised this to maximize whatever effect he’s after. This is not the way it should be. But I’m sure the fucking cable channels are just loving it (though they’d never admit it)…Ratings = Profits!! Sick shit.

This fucking prosecutor is complaining about the way cable and social media provided factual information he considers misleading, discounting most eyewitness accounts as if they were in collusion with one another and couldn’t be trusted. Yet, he clearly scheduled this presser to give the results of this grand jury, knowing the effect it would have during prime-time with full-blown, hyper-vigilant coverage by all cable news outlets for maximum effect. The guy has been a manipulative SOB of a prosecutor from day one. Interesting how he uses Eric Holder as some kind of presumed buffer for the way he prosecuted this case. He never gave a shit about the victim Michael Brown and it clearly shows.

This is sickening. The way the grand jury was handled… was a complete aberration. I hope Darrien Wilson can sleep tonight. He cut a life short, and is going away scott free. Our only hope is that the Justice Department will do something. \

It’s simply a whitewash. 60s all over again?

I didn’t really expect a different result, but I held out hope. Damn t!

Why do I feel like the perennial ā€˜chump’ good ol’ Charlie Brown when Lucy jerks away the football yet once again.

I could not even watch it, after 30 seconds I had to turn it off, because I knew right away they where trying to use a lot of confusing technical details to try and cover up the crime of murder.

Isn’t this supposed to be about what this cop did or didn’t do? He had him on the stand. What’s Wilson’s explanation and testimony? Why isn’t he presenting that? He did say a bullet wasn’t recovered. I didn’t hear anything about Wilson’s injuries, or did I miss that part. I kept hearing about Michael Brown’s autopsy, which as I recall has been contested with differing and plausible explanations. Why didn’t the cop make out a police report on his actions after the killing, and why was this not released to the public? Why did he spend any time explaining anything about that robbery? He said that it was a federal official that secretly released some information to the public at one point. I don’t ever recall that. Sorry, but this is truly a whitewash. It really boils down to him disqualifying witnesses willy-nilly…but based on what??? Inconsistencies? I’m sure there’s some of that in all eyewitness accounts. But where were the consistencies that stand out? I can hardly wait till he releases the transcripts. How much you want to bet he comes up with a lame excuse later that this can’t be done.

The minute the asshole started spouting that Wilson was saving an infant and then heard the report of the theft at the store … my heart broke.

There was no evidence … stated over and over … that Wilson knew about the altercation at the convenience store before he killed Michael Brown.
