Discussion: WATCH LIVE: Michael Cohen's House Oversight Testimony At 10 AM EST

I remember being so mad as a kid when the Watergate hearings interrupted my normal TV time, and I wondered how my dad could sit there and watch hours and hours of that boring drivel.

I get it now, dad!

Okay people, listen up. Remember to stay hydrated today–eating too much popcorn will dry you out something fierce.

Meadows is such a tool.

Republican obstruction will go on all day.

Edit: And Republican’s didn’t allow Democrats to do that when they had the majority.

Unless Trump sleeps in a wedding dress or eats his victims, I can’t imagine being shocked by anything Cohen says today.

Jordan is a fucking bozo.

This is so much procedural BS. Dems have more committee members, so they will carry any vote like this. It’s a two-year old’s temper tantrum.

He needs the floppy shoes.

And might I suggest a cap instead of that ludicrous comboverish attempt.

Just for context…There is no bigger LIAR in this country at present than Donald J. tRump, so any complaints about Cohen being a liar needs to be tempered by that fact, repeatedly, by members of this committee.

From the Economist (emphasis mine):

Donald Trump, America’s president, and Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s dictator, meet in Vietnam’s capital today for their second summit in less than a year. Given the lack of progress in nuclear talks since their first meeting in Singapore in June, expectations are low. The focus has shifted from denuclearisation to improving relations; North Korea’s nuclear disarmament has turned from a precondition for American concessions to a distant goal.

This suits Mr Kim, who has shown no signs of disarming since Singapore (though it also means it may be some time before he gets the relief he wants from economic sanctions). It may also suit Mr Trump, who is likely to declare whatever happens in Hanoi a historic success. But the real result of the meeting may depend on what Mr Kim sees when he looks out of his armoured limousine at Hanoi’s bustle: a model for North Korea—or a country that defeated America.
