Ex-C.I.A. Chief Was Concerned Last Year About Russian Ties to Trump Campaign
â– John O. Brennan, the former director of the C.I.A., said publicly for the first time Tuesday that he was concerned about possible ties between Russia and the Trump campaign.
â– A new report says that President Trump asked two intelligence officials to deny the existence of any evidence of collusion between his campaign and Russia. Both of those officials are testifying before lawmakers on Tuesday.
He said he left office in January with many unanswered questions about the Russian influence operation.

While diffusing Trump’s culpability was Gowdy’s goal, I can imagine people on his side sharing my disbelief that his sweaty, unshaved attack manner will sway observers.
