Boggles the mind. Must be a hellava paycheck.
Stewart also interfered in a fight between Seth Rollins and John Cena when he hit Cena with a metal folding chair.
NOW he starts doing that? Not when he had John Yoo on the Daily Show? Sigh.
Or maybe something he enjoys?
He’s a fan and his son is a big fan. People from all walks of life enjoy wrestling, myself included.
I’m a huge fan. I loved that Jon turning heel was a twist I ddin’t see coming. My wife and I were screaming at the screen like, “No, Jon. NOOOOO!!!”
Well, this is just disgusting. Stewart, by participating in this farce has disqualified himself for being considered a serious voice in matters of national politics.
You’d never catch Gov. Jesse Ventura, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger or Donald Trump taking part in the WWE.
What’s that?
Oh.
Never mind.
GO JONNY GO!
If I wanted to get away from politics, this is where I’d go. REALITY BRO. LOL
I see Jon has new stylist.
P.S. I think Joh is doing this for his son. A young Jewish boy who needs his dad…and I would imagine the money is not to bad.
Yeah…I think that’s it.
I was sort of, miiiildly, a fan of WWF as a kid back in the early 80s. Piper, Hogan, and all sorts of costumed maniacs. But never THAT into it to be honest. Back then through to today I still can’t figure out the draw it has to celebrities, especially those that I really admire. Kaufmann, Cyndi Lauper, and now Stewart. As a performer, it must be fun and uninhibited. You get to be be a bad guy without really having to be a bad guy. I dunno. He was there with his son so that must have been fricken awesome as a dad.
“You wait here while I go hit that giant muscly dude with a chair. BRB, son.” I’d pay a million bucks if I had it to have that moment with my kids. It had to have been a hoot!
Strange, I just don’t envision that a lot of WWE fan’s are liberals that liked watching Jon pick apart conservative ideas and people…hummmm?
You’d be wrong. There is no “typical” WWE fan. They cover all races, sexes, sexual orientations, religions, income and politics. And yes, the overwhelming majority (probably anyone over the age of 6) of us know the outcomes are predetermined. So are outcomes of books, movies, ballets and operas.
There are two very critical skills to being a wrestler, and you must have both to stay at the top of the game: Outstanding athletic skills and mic ability. Many of these guys have to finish a match where they’ve been bounced around, then get on the mic in character, without notes, and sell their product. To me, that better than most of the matches.
Careful, those are fightin’ words!
