Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, heâs a Christian. Heâs always been a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answerâs no, thatâs not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, âHeâs a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.â This is not the way we should be doing it in America.

Jay Lenoâs Jay Walking was always revealing. People couldnât identify Hillary Clinton from a photo of her, thought Lincoln was the first president, couldnât name the body of water west of California even though they were in Los Angeles and worse.

I am somewhat amused by this persistent belief amongst the GOTP that President Obama is a Muslim. He goes to church faithfully, drinks beer, eats bacon, heâs pro-gay, pro womenâs rights, supports legalization of marijuana, etc. It must be exhausting to live in a state of constant denial of irrefutable facts.

There are endless polls that will surprise most rational and/or informed people. A uniquely American statistic is something like 50% or us donât believe in evolution. Unless what I have read is really wrong, there is no similar statistic in say, Europe.
Update: recall the liberal interviewer pretending to be a conservative one at a Sarah Palin rally or something like that? He found a women that believed the Obama was BOTH Atheist AND Muslim.

I think this article is worthwhile. It points out how we mercilessly stereotype people based on appearances, and highlights the shameful ignorance of Americans.

Well maybe its all fun but there is a sad part in this. Obama is not a Muslim but folks have been led to believe he is by Journalists ( who really should stick to the truth ) and politicians that use lies to advance themselves. Thereâs an organized interest in making folks believe lies. Much of the GOP is dependent on you believing Obama is a Muslim, there are death panels in the ACA or there were WMD in Iraq. If their victims knew the truth ( and believed it ) those GOPâers would be looking for a job. Senators, House members, Governors and Judges all dependent on folks believing a pack of lies in order to sustain themselves. And an MSM, not just FOX, that is dependent on those lies for revenue.
Think about it. Those people believe Obama is a Muslim because people they vote for tell them that and people they rely on for information tell them that.

Ha! Look at how the birthers deny reality. The obfuscate, move the goal posts, lie, deny, or anything else to hang on by the finger nails to their mistaken belief he was born in Kenya. And they will turn around and say âWell⌠Cruzâs mom was an American, so he qualifiesâŚâ. forgetting Obamaâs mom also was was an American. Different standards for different races.
