That is precisely what it is. His only hope is that the other āestablishmentā candidates collapse before/in SC and he is the last man standing to serve as a firewall against Trump. He basically even made that pitch tonight, saying everyone else was AWOL while he alone was taking it to the Donald.
Which, given how routinely Trump cleans his clock, thatās really not much to pin his hopes on.

I know youāre reaching for some sort of comparison here, but the Schiavo debacle and the Whitewater Witch Hunt really cannot be remotely compared.
If I were to take my own stab at a parallel ā¦ hmmm ā¦ I suggest that Ā”Yeb! running a Schiavo political ad is more like Hillary running a Benghazi ad, where she states that Stevens got what was coming to him because he was incompetent. Best I can do on the spur of the moment to try and imagine something even close to as disgusting and craven as Ā”Yeb!'s behavior.

I have low expectations of his campaign and even lower of his presidency.
And the funny thing is, Al Franken as Stuart Smalley actually is a US Senator and a good one and can campaign the Hell out of Jebediah Bush.
