This right wing propaganda infrastructure is a clear and present danger to the republic. I live in a rural area and most of the people out here are into Fox News, local news, and right wing radio. Their unreality is more cohesive and convincing to them than is reality itself.

That was my impression, too. I quit watching local news decades ago, because I couldn’t stand spending 30 minutes to get 7 minutes of news (and zero analysis).
This Nielsen piece says we are wrong:
If you believe the misconception that local news has fallen out of favor, think again. In actuality, news viewing increased from 2015 to 2016 and has shown continued growth in early 2017.
Given the time period involved, however, I think they are measuring the impact of the election year and, sad to say, the fascination with Trumpp.

We are human beings with a free will…no one is forced to watch this bullshit and if you know people that do…ask them why.There are dozens of places to get responsible news and commentary .Boycott these outlets as you would shit shows like Faux News and other lying slime…its up to you to ignore the obvious farce that Sinclair is orchestrating.
