Discussion: WATCH: In Unison, Sinclair's Local Stations Denounce ‘One-Sided News Stories’

It’s death by a thousand cuts for irony in this maladministration…

There is little difference between Fox and Sinclair in terms of right-wing bias but Sinclair does a better job at soft-peddling their slant or making it appear ‘objective.’ And IMHO they are clearly worse than Fox in the sense that the Sinclair identity is often hidden behind the mask of different station names; it takes some research to confirm who the actual owner is.

Here’s an idea. The news readers should just read the required scripts in a fast dull monotone.

Nothing speaks to the degenerate corruption of TV “news” quite like the craven willingness of these vacuous bobbleheads to regurgitate the propagandistic drivel that Sinclair shoves at them.

The war against lies, bullshit and superstion will likely never be won, but it must slways be fought and never abandoned.

Once again the Repuglican/Trump/alt-right/white supremacist movements takes America a step closer toward becoming a totalitarian state. Those who have supported Trump so ardently had better wake up, as must we all, before our rights to vote, think and speak freely, enjoy acess to a free media, and pursue our own dreams will be completely whittled away. At that point, America as we know it will be gone.

"Gorka, Post-Intelligencer reported, spoke about an alleged “deep state” attempting to undermine the Trump presidency. "

Somebody is begging for a Deep State uranium enema.

that’s some antifa I could really get behind. heh

Why should we be read to by the monkeys, when we can read what the organ grinder has to say?

Required.

So much for “rugged individualism.” Can you keep up?

Count on Republican conservatives to come up with “big media”.

It almost seems as if they are trying to control exactly what people think by using their platforms to push their own personal biases, plaguing us by broadcasting these irresponsible, one-sided promos by the bushel instead of doing in-depth reporting on the latest false news out of the killing fields of Chicago, strewn with the bodies of Black Africans. It makes me less trustful that they are committed to honest and accurate reporting, as if that is not their true mission. I’m in a deep state of despair about it.

Gorka lamented “black Africans” killing each other “by the bushel” in Chicago.

Ok. heinous racist bullshit from square one. But think about it. Even as a metaphor, this makes absolutely zero sense. It’s as stupid as it is racist.

What, they didn’t re-animate Edwards R. Murrow to have him read this too?

Newton Minow saw Sinclair coming way back in 1961…

Who are “black Africans?” Are there a lot of Nigerians living in Chicago? What?

I know what you mean. Here’s my confusion.

I read today that there’s been 3 shootings per day by police this year.

So… help me out.

If that’s taking place and there’s soooo much crime, is it a good idea to let everyone and their Crazy Uncle Don get a gun?

Or if that’s taking place and it’s not crime, does that mean the Insurrection has begun, and am I supposed to go out and start shooting police in order to take our country back?

Appreciate any suggestions you might have to clarify : - )

For folks in the DC/MD/VA area, just a reminder that WJLA (ABC - channel 7) is a Sinclair-owned station. I need to give up my shows and find a way to watch them somewhere else. Hulu maybe?

Which country?
The segment’s producer, according to the report, was Kristine Frazao, who before working for Sinclair was a reporter and anchor for the Russian state-owned network RT.

Probably Hulu or Sling or something else. There’s alternatives.

Here’s another idea. The news readers should just refuse to read the script, or they should preface the script-reading with a statement that the script is required reading by Sinclair, which is an ally of Mr. Trump. If they did it together, they would have power against Sinclair. More importantly, they would retain their dignity and bring an audience with them to another station if Sinclair fired them.

This is the prescient Cronkite tearing up in 1963 knowing fake news would overcome us in in the 21st century.
