Why would anyone be dumb enough to think Democrats want Trump off the GOPās stage? Weāre laughing our asses off at the spectacle of Trump exposing the id of the Republican base.
If the guy was a plant, he was either planted by one of the other Republican candidates to entrap Trump, or he was planted by Trump himself for the headlines.
Edited to Add: Most likely the man wasnāt a plant. If he were a GOP political operative planted there, I think someone would have recognized him by now.

Don Imus had a caller with a sort of similar voice, identified as āBillā¦from White Plains.ā This guy on the tape looks real and might just not know or care that someone wants to know his identity.

Thatās more like it. Why would Jake Tapper suspect it was a Democratic plant? This guy took has helped with knocking down Scottie Walker, has trashed Bush, and has directly confronted the GOPers head on. Heās been a gift to the Democrats in that sense. If anything, this guy was a plant for the Christies and Kasichs of the world, who can now show how much they really āloveā Muslims.

In what way is White Plains Guy any crazier or more hate-filled than (say) Michael Savage? Savage also says that Obama is āinjecting, like a virus, Muslims from Syria into all-white communities in America,ā that the Pope is a communist following in the footsteps of Pol Pot, that Obama hates white people, and that he heard a Mayan womanās dream about how all the whites will disappear, and is afraid this foretells how Obama will commit genocide against whites. And not only is Savage a Trump fan (heās called Trump āthe Winston Churchill of our timeā), Trump has appeared on Savageās radio show.

A plant would have asked a more artful question. Mr. White Plains blurted a few weirdisms then asked an ambiguous question. (Did he want to get rid of Muslims or ātraining campsā?) This guy was 200 proof Trump/Tea Party.

We know a couple of Libertrarian, GOP voting people. I have brought up the rabid comments that appear on Faux Noise web site, and other right wing sites, or on non-right wing sights, that just trip racism, violence, and homophobia.
Both have always responded quickly that those are all liberal trolls, and faked.
This is clearly another right wing belief that has rooted itself in their hermetically sealed thought sphere.
They simply refuse to accept the fact that those comments are genuine, and that that many Americans are in fact drooling racist, homophobic, hateful people.
Also, the right is very good at quickly attributing bad behavior to others, because it is exactly what THEY would do. Q.v. the Planned Parenthood tapes and other acts by their supporters.

This is what infuriates me about the goddamned corrupt and lazy media of this country. It doesnāt matter WHO asked the question; what matters is Trumpās answer TO the question. It doesnāt matter if Miss Piggy asked the question, it is the answer given by Trump that is the only thing that matters. He fucked up, and now heās paying for it. But I wonder: would any other Republican candidate do any differently, even the ones who are criticizing Trump after the incident? Personally, I think they are only disagreeing with Trump for political points and media exposure. I think the rest are just as fucking rotten, racist, and Islamophobic as Trump and the Republican base are.

Thereās no evidence indicating that the guy was a plant, yet Tapper ā a news guy ā is amplifying the rumor. Thatās exactly what journalists arenāt supposed to do.
Regardless: The issue is Trumpās response, not what some anonymous idiot said ā whose views, by the polling, represent a huge percentage of GOP primary voters anyway.
