Warren 2020!

You won’t tolerate?

LOL.

You’re not going to be able to do shit, even if you were inclined to, and we both know it.

Once Mitch kills the filibuster you can shake your fist and that’s about it.

Warren is not a very frivolous person.

Shoulda run, Elizabeth. Hillary “I’m with her” Clinton ran the most uninspiring campaign since Walter Mondale.

So she won’t be fist-shaking then? Doing nothing instead?

Okay.

Mitch is going to kill the filibuster. He’d be a fool not to unless there’s some shed of decency in the man and he sees the fascism on the way and hopes Schumer uses it to stall some of the worst crazy on the way.

Otherwise, what she can do is nothing.

I understand your frustration, but even shaking her fist is something if it helps to organize the opposition. The world has not yet ended. I will keep trying like I have since Nixon.

I think we’re headed towards an economy that’s sort of like China’s. Just do what you want. Want to sell candy bars that are laced with poison? OK.

Want to sell electrical appliances that aren’t grounded and could be lethal? Caveat emptor.

The invisible hand of the free market will sort it all out.

I, for one, welcome our new corporate overlords!

Warren said that Trump’s victory made Latino and Muslim-American children “worried about what will happen to their families,” and LGBT couples “worried that their marriages could be dissolved.”

But Trump’s victory will bring “The Revolution”, right Ms. Sarandon?

So it’s all good.

Shaking your fist is nothing when the tanks come to mow you down like grass.

Good luck to you.

I’m not sure that “nothing” isn’t the right answer. No matter what the Republicans do, they always blame the damage on the Democrats. They can’t blame the Democrats if they have literally done nothing.

The public needs to know, unambiguously, who is harming them. Sometimes, it’s just best to play the long game and get out of the way.

It’s going to hurt, a lot, regardless of what we do.

Like that will happen. I live in a red state.

So letting Wall Street runs lose, and wreck the economy is Trumps idea of “draining the swamp.”

It’s cool for Susan. She’s rich and white, she’ll be fine. She won’t be dying in it, so she’s all good.

The Republican Congress and Senate will pass, in the first week the following Reich-Winger wet-dream bills;

  1. Elimination of the CFPB and Dodd-Frank reforms
  2. Elimination of the Obama immigration reforms
  3. Tax breaks for the wealthy and corporations
  4. Approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline
  5. Rescind SEC rules on CEO pay disclosure
  6. Begin work on PRIVATIZING Social Security AND Medicare.
This will be in the FIRST WEEK.
It will only get worse from there on with the repeal of the ACA (a more complicated thing than even they realize.)
Environmental regulations will be back-door repealed in a sneaky manner by passing into law the Republican Corporate idea of “requiring ALL environmental regulations to perform a cost-vs-benefit ratio review with the affected industry performing the review.”
They will then get around to outlawing Gay-marriage via a National “Protection of Religious Rights” law, and reinstating the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” military regulations.
Hang on tight people. It is going to get very, very bad, very, very fast.

If you’re smart, you have an exit plan.

They blame the Democrats anyway and always have and their electorate buys it.

Trump: I plan to put Warren in Jail on day 1. She will join HIllary.

I can’t entirely dismiss it.

I agree with this. I’ve been trying to fight the ‘burn it down’ feelings I’ve been having, but I’m thinking democrats should just vote ‘no’ and let things go as the republicans want. It may well damage the country irreparably, but given what this country has done to itself I’m pretty sure I don’t care anymore.
