DO Not Be Complacent About Trump . This can’t be said enough . GOTV and help those down tickets. Stop them in their tracks
Hillary has a conventional streak running through her political life. Warren as VP would be bold. However, I predict some safe, white, male, tenured politician with a military background and many years of relatively staid service in Congress to be her choice.

Or one of the Castro Brothers

For the Record:
Five days ago, we had a predicting game on when the President, Vice President, and Senator Warren would endorse Secretary Clinton. So, how did we do?
Pretty well actually. Spencersmom, Maryjohanna, Captaincommonsense, and myself predicted quick endorsements by all three and won the trifecta! Tflick and Proudbluegirl72 got two of three; Kfraz43 had one of three. No one got skunked.
Looking at it another way. 21 possible outcomes (7 bettors, 3 bets each). We nailed 17!
Not bad!
As to Hillary’s veep pick. I have no F’ing idea. But we have to maximize our chances to flip the Senate. No Senators in states with GOP governors. Flipping the house is a pipe-dream. Not going to happen. Other than that, I’m sure that she will make a strategic pick. And no matter who she chooses, someone or some group is going to criticize her for it.
All of us must go and Vote. You should do your Duty every Election.Vote Straight Blue and remove the party of trump.
Group of Pricks must be voted out.Not one of them is fit to sit in Congress.
It is well past time we worked hard to save this nation from the growing right wing threat.
I’m certainly pleased as punch that Warren fully committed last night. She’s right about our side seeming to always be playing catch-up in the messaging department to the republicans. She is very vocal, articulate and spirited in her speeches, and instead of playing defense, like we usually do, she seems to be leading on the offensive now, it seems. More of this please. I want to see the republicans on their heels for a change.
Any ideas who?
Nope. She is going to go with somebody younger, probably perceived as a progressive, and most likely not white. And my guess is, definitely male.
She’s a better communicator than Clinton.
This is a guess based on fantasy,
I don’t see the necessity for a minority choice. Do Dems need to shore up their support and display allegiance to Blacks, Latinos or Asians in a contest against Trump? That is not to argue for taking those groups for granted, nor for putting policies addressing their needs on the back burner. I think a typical balancing of the ticket gambit requires Hillary to target a subset of the electorate where she’s theoretically weak. Corey Booker or Julio or JoaquĂn Castro don’t serve that purpose.
With all that said, I think her pick is important and at the moment difficult to predict.
The Castro brothers have been at the top of my VP list for quite some time now. (I don’t think she’ll go with “white, male, tenured…”)
Would love to see Warren as VP, but wonder if the closet misogynists who may already be having some trouble with one woman on the ticket might have trouble accepting two.
Also, Warren has done such a good job where she is.
On the other hand, she could continue to be behind the bullhorn, taunting Donnie all the way to November. Would be great fun.
But with her reputation as a hawk – deserved or not – she might not feel that she needs a military guy for “balance.”
As some of the Sanders supporters have noted, she is pretty capable of swinging her own dick at times.
The House flipping might be possible – if remote – but that would require a huge wave of white women breaking for Hillary and voting down ticket Dem.
I agree. I am going with Tim Kaine* I just don’t see Warren and Clinton a good fit. Call it women’s intuition but last night when Rachel asked her if she was endorsing Ciinton, her mouth said yes, but her body language didn;t. No question in my mind Warren would have preferred Bernie I also found it interesting the way she responded to several of Rachel’s questions where she didnt really answer At one point Rachel tried to finesse her but it didn’t work, That’s the way I saw it.
I think we need 30 seats which would actually be a net gain of 60. However the more seats we have, it is possible we could get some moderate replublicans on our side to get some things done,
