Warren Buffett Unleashes Another $2.8 Billion Donation
Warren Buffett announced a donation of $2.84 billion, once again primarily benefitting the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
After which, Trump and Buffet will engage in a friendly, “wet Y-front briefs contest.”
This is good, but what I really want to see is that at the first debate, Hillary says, “Mr. Trump, you’ve wanted me to release the transcripts of my speeches to Wall Street. Here they are [holding up transcripts]. I’ll give them to you if you’ll promise to release your tax returns within the next seven days.”
Wow, thanks for leaving me with that image this early in the morning…
I bet Buffett would win, though.
But the question is, which Drumpf tax returns?
His American ones, or his Russian ones?
Trump will never show his returns, and he will never debate Clinton. He may have a poor understanding of how his bullying tactics turn off voters, but he does know that being shown up as stupid, uninformed, cheap, and poor is not the way to win. He knows the taxes and debates would show him in exactly that light. So it will never happen.
Trumpp: If I show my tax return, I will never, ever get another wife.
It’s interesting how all the people who can really pull the rug out from under Trump’s World are doing so very publically. The Khans and Buffett are strong hits. It’s like watching a game of Battleship.
Buffett plays it every which way. He’ll always protect investments first.
Well, you know, Donald has those itty-bitty hands. So you’re probably right…
Bad advice.
I’ve read a bit about Buffet over the years. I had no idea he was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Buffett has given $25 billion to charity–yes, that’s billion. Trump can’t even chisel out a few thousand to charity without news organizations embarrassing him enough that he ponies up a least some of what he’s pledged.

Wholeheartedly agree. Moreover he’s now broadcasting that he’s going to lose because, as he’s now saying, “the election will be rigged.”
Who needs to compare tax returns? Look at those big, meaty, manly HANDS, with their broad and long fingers!
The Economist has an interesting article about a classic study in the asymmetry of information and how that affects transactions. The model is used car lemons: what the dealer knows but won’t disclose and what the buyers suspect but can’t know.
Trump’s Tax returns should apply here. George Akerlof’s 1970 paper, “The Market for Lemons”, is a foundation stone of information economics. The first in our series on seminal economic ideas
Secrets and agents
In the first debate, I would like for Hillary to challenge him to call her “crooked Hillary” to her face… The gutless orange wonder wouldn’t, I’d wager.
I love Warren Buffet…a voice of sanity from both the BILLIONAIRE class and the Democratic side.
And they thought Bernie was tough. Ha!
Go Warren!
He’s a liberal business man to be sure, but a business man first.
