Yarp. I just finished reading the WaPo piece, and it’s sadly hilarious reading about Trump flailing from one losing proposition to another.

"The Pentagon has plenty of money, but reprogramming it for a wall would require votes in Congress that the president does not seem to have. Taking money from the current 2018 budget for the wall would require an act of Congress, said a senior Pentagon official.
To find the money in the 2019 defense budget, Trump would have to submit a budget amendment that would still require 60 votes in the Senate, the official said."

Well, with all those extra $$$ BILLIONS of dollars sloshing around in the Pentagon budget there is only one thing stopping them: The Posse Comitatus Law.
The Posse Comitatus Act is an act that prohibits the federal government from using the armed forces as a posse comitatus for law enforcement, except in cases and circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress.
The act was enacted in the year 1878, and it is cited in 18 USCS § 1385.
Congress has not authorized the Pentagon to spend funds on this so; FUCK OFF TRUMP!
