It seems no one is even making an attempt to conceal what’s going on any longer.

They don’t waste time getting here when there is a Russian story that needs to be spun, do they?

I hope he doesn’t find out that Russia believes that Alaska should be their territory.

Why not give them a suite in the Old Executive Office Building, next to the White House?

The Obama administration intended the evictions be permanent. They had no plan or intention to give them back.

Now we have Trump planning to, and he will, give them back. But I can’t see why he’d drop the tit for tat opportunity and not demand the St. Pete building go back into construction as his end.

Unless he already has his end in some other form.

He works for them!! Are you trying to use irony or are you willfully denying what you see with your own eyes??!

Trump denies it as does Putin. They say it’s a Democratic myth made up to justify “losing an election they should have won”…which seems to be an admission if you give it a deep read.

Russia again. It’s always Russia with Trump. It’s almost like Russia has a marker with his name on it and it’s still open.

Now you’re making me nervous.

Yes. The WH official stance, per Trump, has always been that there is no evidence that Russian hacked the elections, and it could have been anyone…China, a 400 lb guy living in his mom’s basement, a disgruntled DNC employee, or even Barron. These are all possible scenarios Trump and/or the WH press office has trotted out at one point or another to reinforce the official position that nobody knows for sure. Trump only rather reluctantly accepted this stance after long holding out there was NO hacking at all.

So in response to your question about a rationale, their official rationale would be that they want to improve relations with Russia, and unilaterally lifting parts of the December sanctions is a step towards that. It was also reported at the end of last week, that Trump is still looking to lift all sanctions on Russia for the Crimea invasion, as well as the ones related to their hacking. He wanted to do this early on, but it is still a top priority for him, its just the timing is really bad.

If they demand two or three White House bedrooms, that is what he will give them!

Likewise, would I use my first foreign trip to undermine NATO, shake the faith of the Baltic states that I’d honor Article V, undermine European unity, and attack all of our closest allies? No, of course not!

Because he is appeasing Putin, obviously. And the St. Pete construction was stopped long before these facilities were closed in December. Put ordered that stopped in retaliation of the original Crimean based sanctions. So from Russia’s perspective (and what should be quite clear is Trump’s perspective, to no big surprise) they are unrelated issues. Putin says they never hacked American elections, and Trump agrees, so therefore any sanctions related to that accusation need to be removed.

Trump: Because I can and I will. I am THE POTUS.

What’s not speculation is that Trump inc has been lying thru its teeth for a long time. Trump appears to think of Putin as a model.

This is a banned Troll.

Their words are just a stream of lies, but the actions more and more say they’re working for the Russians, don’t care who knows it, and brazenly challenge anyone to do anything about it. Thing is, we’ve seen it before, and eventually decided we would, in fact, do something about it.

In other news, Trump Tower in New York is being renamed Trump Dacha.
