I’ll bet the Venn diagram of Moral Law as used here, and sharia law looks very much like a single circle.

Well then he is qualified for the GOP Senate.

Moore became president of the group, Foundation for Moral Law, in 2007, after having used it as a platform “to advance himself on any possible front, whether it was political or oratorical,” one University of Alabama professor emeritus of political science told the Post.

Just so I’m clear here: the charity’s sole purpose is to provide Moore with income from any sort of venture he goes into? Legality be damned??? Does that mean as Senator he gets his congressional salary from the charity?

I think “scam” pretty much covers all bases here.

They should have called it “Moore-al Law”

A little further into the story it says the “nonprofit” also employed his wife and children.

Is somebody, for god’s sake, anybody keeping any eye on these people?

Doesn’t Moore’s Law say something about the income of the righteous doubling every 18 months?

The IRS in February concluded an audit of the Foundation for Moral Law’s 2013 records and said that the group “did not identify its special fundraising activities” and that its filings “did not reflect those recorded on your books of account”…

“They’re not gonna catch us. We’re on a mission from G-d!”

This whole nonprofit thing is the way politicians seem to be going. The author of ‘Hillbilly Elegy’ J D Vance, who appears ready to announce some kind of political career in Ohio, has a nonprofit to address the ideas and addressing the problems identified in the book. He is listed as ‘honorary chairman’ but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t pay for his expenses going around the state promoting himself.

Are these nonprofits being used as a way to promote politicians outside of the reporting of donations necessary by election laws? They don’t seem to be doing anything else.

Where are those Clinton cash folks?
Their new film could be Moore money.

When you grievously underfund and understaff the IRS, this kind of crookedness flourishes.

Christian values NOT!!!

nowarino, there’s no “seem to be” about it. IT’s been going on for quite some time. I remember when the late not lamented Ted Stevens was sort of caught out for his graft, one of the scams was a big fundraiser they had for some river around Anchorage, for the environment and the fish!

Oddly enough, Stevens and his pals, including the Murkowski family (including Sen. Lisa) all had property along that same river that increased in value as the sport fishing and health of the “river” increased/improved. So really what the “donors” did was contribute money to Stevens’ et al charity, which benefitted Stevens’ el al property values, got everybody including Stevens et al fed a sumptuous meal or three and have a fun night or three and a few days fun fishing (no money from Stevens pocket for those days/nights) and got access to Stevens and other Alaska pols for swamp like sweetheart deals and so on.

They’re all just a bunch of lying, soulless monstrosities, you scratch their surface and nothing but lies and pus and inhumanity oozes to the surface.
