Actually, most of the republican base believe the subsidies only go to undeserving "others " anyway so I doubt there will be any pressure from them.

Yes they do, they’ll just let the dust settle right back where it was. They never wanted any sort of ‘affordable’ healthcare or ‘assistance’ in the first place.
Insurance companies that got filthy rich by not insuring was their plan and is plan A as far as they’re concerned.

In case of a ridiculous adverse decision by the Supreme Court, millions will immediately be thrown into chaos, and likely back into the uninsured pool, and literally set adrift to get sick and die. So, what is the biggest fear of the state politicians? Political blowback, if they try to assist them, therefore assuaging any discomfort for President Obama! They are NOT AT ALL afraid of the affected and afflicted CITIZEN VOTERS, they are afraid of their KOCH BROTHERS overlords, and all of those who PAY TO PUT THEM IN OFFICE!
