Do not forget that Trump is the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces. That Military Doctor had to report what Trump wanted
If Muellerâs able to tie Russian money to the NRA and NRA PACs, he may be able to tie multiple 'pubs to Russian money. Each 'pub who was on the receiving end certainly knows they have exposure. Thatâs fear of god territory, IMHO.
I KNOW!!! And itâs probably why they are fighting the investigations tooth and nail and trying to discredit the investigators and the FBI.
Whatâs to stop these two lawyers from taking on the written part of this âtake home examâ themselves? How could Mueller trust that these were actually answers written by trump himself unless there was a Mueller lawyer present while trump wrote the answers?
Not to mention that Drumpf pretty much threatened that if he gave him a bad medical report, the stock market would tank.
What a day! -

Beauregard in the barrel for several hours last week. Mueller questioned him on the Comey firing and apparently the pressure Trump put on him to resign because he failed to stop the investigation,
-
Beauregard screws himself and Trump with his ham handed pressuring of Wray, and Wray pushed back! Of all the developments in this scandal, I never expected Christopher Wray to have some shred of decency. I really didnât. What Beauregard did here is he implicated the WH and the GOP members of the House Intel committee (and maybe even Hannity/Fox News?) because they all coordinated to put the heat on McCabe in December and to fire him. Witness tampering, intimidation are a real issue for Trump.

WAPO reports that Mueller is looking at efforts to interfere with the Special Counselâs investigation. As Josh points out, this is the first indication that Mueller is going after all of Trumpâs corrupt attempts to block and interfere with this probe. This almost certainly means (to me anyway) that his allies in Congress: Nunes and that dumb drunk ass from FL are gonna be in the barrel. I also think this means that Fox News is in the barrel, because as the Wolff book accurately notes, they are basically the gorilla channel for Trump. They prime him for what he wants to talk about. Jeannine Pirro, Sean Hannity and all those nuts should all be in the barrel if Mueller is looking at what I think he is looking at.

More evidence seems to be emerging that Trump made the Stormy Daniels payment as a campaign expenditure. This could emerge as a real issue. Lots of members of Congress have been prosecuted for such things. Would be great if Melania started talking to Mueller and revealed other hush $ schemes. Would love to see Michael Cohen in the barrel (he might beâŚwe donât know).
Iâve thought for awhile that Obstruction was the least of Trumpâs problems, but the easiest to sell to the public. Mueller thinks itâs one of the easiest to prove based on how aggressively he is going after this one.
UPDATE: Three more developments:
WAPO reports that Trump asked McCabe whom he voted for in 2016 and also criticized his wife for her PAC run by McAuliffe. Mueller is looking into this, If Mueller is getting this granular, it means he has enough to send Trump to trial and is polishing his case to be air tight.
Medium reports that Felix Sater was subpoenaed in a big money laundering case in NY. While he resisted cooperation, he is now willingly doing so. Hmmmmmm, I wonder who or what convinced Felix to do that?
This case btw is about the City of Almaty, Kazakhstan (the capital) and a big bank (BTA Bank). Basically two Kazakhs who were connected to this bank stole up to $4 billion from this bank and laundered it into various western countries and investments, including Trump properties (via Felix Sater). Sater is being questioned about his role in laundering this money through Cypress banks. This is the same story that Maddow, FT and Forbes have reported on. We all know Trumpâs business model is to send signals to money launderers that their money is safe with him. Millions have been laundered through his properties and Mueller and other SDNY prosecutors seem to have found the evidence to prove it.
Christopher Wray seems to have hired Dana Boente, former head of the EDVA and a guy Trump got rid of because he ran significant parts of the #trumprussia investigation from the DOJ side, as the FBIâs General Counsel. Wray seems to want protection from Trump and Sessions. Say what you want, but this is a big f.u. to Trump who will not take this news well. It also tells me that Wray seems too have concluded (as Bannon did before him) that Trump is done and he is getting out ahead of, and away from, this. Could be a good sign that the end is nigh for the Trumpers.
Update 2: CNN reports that Gates appears to be negotiating with Mueller to cut a deal. As Deputy Campaign Manager who also served on the Inaugural committee, Gates has dirt not only on Manafort, but also on Kushner and others. AgainâŚwhat a day in #trumprussia!
The manchildâs impulse will be to fire Mueller. Now thatâs an obstruction of justice just waiting to happen.
Fighting and obstructing the investigations all while Ms Hamhock blithely states that they are totally on board with cooperating with Mueller and the Congressional committees. The bald faced lies give me a migraine. Any one of the thousands of bullshit lies these charlatans have spewed would destroy any other administration long since. And they pull this shit DAILY fer chrissakes.
Doesnât anyone care to stop this?
Long-standing DOJ rules may apply, if the election is not far away.
Well, should it have?
(OK, itâs a trick question.)
[quote]There was nothing there. Is there something here, or are smear jobs only okay when it involves people who are looking into republican malfeasance? (not sure how that turned into mis, but whatever)

[Not sure what youâre getting at here, hence no response.]
I wonder what is taking him so long
Yesterday Wolf Blitzer commented that the hush money was a âcontribution in kindâ. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at the irony. It hurt to laugh that hard. A Stormy Daniels dance on the Resolute Desk as a âcontribution in kindâ. The tawdry is strong in trump.
Immediate impeachment.
I want running for president to be the worst thing that ever happens to him and his family. I want the punishments to be so severe that it discourages shady businesspeople from ever running for anything ever again.
Another thing I hope comes out of this is the formation of some kind of bipartisan group that requires all candidates to release ten years of tax returns and undergo a mental health exam and physical. And no friendly doctors or psychologists.
Playing coy, are we?
Okay then.
Which is why it is crucial to have the best candidates possible for all the various seats that will be open and make a difference in what happens next. I personally donât want to rely on a report that someone, no matter how credible, might make today, tomorrow, next week, or next year or maybe never.
Donât wait for someone else to make the change. Be the change. There are hundreds of people already making their bones to run in November. I am at the point where I want a nuclear option: EVERYBODY OUT!!! I mean EVERYONE. Dem, Rep, male, female, whatever. Totally new group. I want to see them all mad as hell and not be willing to take it anymore.
But I am not willing to wait for the Mueller report. I want to stonewall this apricot Cheeto against being able to remove one more brick from our Democracy. Shut him down!
Proper punishment for the trumps would be total and complete loss of wealth.
It seems completely random for me. It works then it doesnât. Itâs starting to get a little aggravating.
Pangaea rocksâŚ
About half the US Senate would have to retire!
The folks who put together the presidential debates could (maybe) insist on the tax-return thing as a pre-condition for participation. The medical stuff is more difficult to tackle, perhaps for good reason.
