Discussion: WaPo: Justice Department Considering Whether To Charge WikiLeaks Members

Is there such a thing as a schadenfreude overdose?

What’s the Narcan-equivalent if there is? Asking for a friend.

The IC is going after Carter Page and others with known associations with Russia, has arrested several Russian hackers, and is now (maybe) charging Wikileaks. Looks like they’re trying to stepwise dismantle Putin’s nefarious network.

Yeah, but Sessions’ Justice Dept?

Am I smelling a rat besides Assange?

Or should he stop drinking tea.

Didn’t Drumpf explicity call for the Russkies to hack Clinton’s e-mails?

Since Assange is an agent of Putin, he was only ever doing Drumpf’s bidding, therefore should be immune from any prosecution.

And didn’t Drumpf promise to pay his legal fees, sorta?

Won’t believe it till I see it, and I want a big “And fuck you, Ecuador” attached to the criminal complaint.

Do it! Frog march him out of his current residence and lock his azz up!

If I were Ecuador I’d want to extend Assange’s stay until I got everything my heart desired out of Comrade Chaos and his (too many) protectors. After all, it’d be a shame if Assange and his treasure trove of information suddenly fell into the “wrong hands.”

Didn’t Trump say he just loves Wikileaks quite a few times?

Assange is fine. The DoJ won’t charge him. For fuck’s sake, he doesn’t sit on an island in the Pacific. The north Atlantic doesn’t count.

Of course, that would be the water closet.

Why can’t “they” take him out when he’s looking out the window?

As I said, Sessions’ DOJ?

Can’t see that happening, so it’s a pathetic attempt to place blame elsewhere, not that Assange is innocent…

Just like he promises to pay his contractors.

I have to say, I definitely didn’t see this development happening. It is however making the speculation part of my brain kick into overdrive right now however.
