Why not, Donnie’s whitewashing the whole thing?

I hope this spurs more digging into the Trump family’s financial dealings with the murderous regime.

A good place to start would be the offloading of 666 Fifth Avenue. Who really bought that white elephant from the Kushners?

I figure it is only a matter of days before the Saudi government tries to put the blame on Hillary Clinton’s emails.

I expect this kind of unspeakable behavior from Donald Trump. But what’s wrong with Mike Pompeo? I think he had strong bipartisan support in his confirmation hearings as he was considered to be smart and reasonable. He is selling his soul - and for what?

Medjool dates. Saudi Arabia has the best damned medjool dates on the planet. They’re like crack, you eat one and you can’t stop.

Only on Planet Trump would the explanation they’re running as a trial balloon be anything but a cause for immediate abdication. If you can’t even run your government well enough to keep your minions from murdering and dismembering someone – even “by accident” – then you need a top-to-bottom open investigation.

Yeah, but what if the murderer turns out to be the top of the top? You’d find yourself pretty soon at the bottom of something very unpleasant, presumably. Good luck to the investigator who will look into the actions of some, shall we say, high ranking officals. Aka Crown Prince…

And that is why there won’t be an investigation. Or an abdication.

Sounds like a good reason to invade.

Under Trump, America stands for nothing. At least nothing good. Our values are trash and if the world didn’t know that already, they damn sure know it now.

Meanwhile, Trump is busy tweeting about Stormy Daniels and Liz Warren on inane matters.

You know as a mystery buff you have to have some sort of explanation of what happened to Khashoggi, it’s part of the rules of mystery writing.

Now back to the real world, the Saudis said they don’t know what happened to Khashoogi, well he was last seen entering your compound which is technically your sovereign soil. There are cameras that record who goes in and out. So Khashoogi is seen entering but no exit. Did he fly off the roof (no one ever looks up)? Did he tunnel out, or slip into the sewer system and out that way? And WTF is up with one of your citizens traveling with a bone saw? Why don’t we try to come up with some plausible explanation for that first?

And lastly whoever is ghost writing your opps is bad, very bad at this.

At a minimum Khashoggi’s death is no reason to fool around and impose sanctions and risk losing access to them.
