Discussion for article #232729

Walker doesn’t have the fund raising network to win the nomination.

I was almost going to wager that Walker would never go to jail … but maybe he is right - don’t bet against it happening .

The one contest in which I would never, ever bet against him is the one for Most Punchable Face.

Li’l Scottie Walker peeked out from behind the Koch Brothers’ legs and squealed, “My daddies can outspend your dad! Ha ha!”

He was so excited by the prospect of being crowned King of America that he never saw the pitchfork.

Walker is extremely well tied into the Koch network of donors. It won’t be lack of funds that ends his campaign. Its his mouth.

He absolutely blew the entire conversation in the same interview, regarding foreign policy and ISIS specifically. And, I think he is being accelerated in the poll standings far too quickly for his own good.

This is the one GOPer that truly terrifies me. Because I live in Chicago, and I’ve talked with dozens of moderate Wisconsinites and Illinoisans who like Walker (and our homestate equivalent, Bruce Rauner) because they’re “decisive leaders.” He plays really, really well with middle-class whites.

You are right on the money with your prediction. His foreign policy comments show total ignorance and unsuitability for the national stage.

Wow. Can we spell NARCISSIST? I bet Walker CAN’T… His expertise stops at UNION BUSTING! Somehow we in the MIDDLE CLASS are supposed to REWARD that political insanity and corporate GREED? I don’ think so!

He thinks it’s in the bag, and that the Kochs’ billion will make him president.
But this man of zero to negative charisma? So openly a puppet of the Kochs?
I wonder …

I’m gonna bet against him bigtime.

I have shared your concern. However, under the national spotlight today, he looked both ignorant and arrogant. Let’s hope that, while he could bamboozle Wisconsinites, he doesn’t have what it takes to do that on the national level.

The Kochs will probably send shiploads of money to their loyal servant, but remember this. In 2010 California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman (former CEO of ebay) spent $177 million on this race and lost to Jerry Brown who spent around $36 million. The Koch will overreach in their spending, turn off voters and Walker will fail.

People “are so sick and tired of politicians in both parties … who say one thing on the campaign trail and do something else.”

Does anyone recall him mentioning when he ran for governor that he intended to take civil service worker’s bargaining rights away?

Then, when he was elected, he dramatically did just that. Without warning. Ignoring his own campaign platform.

The Koch’s favorite boy is Mike Pence … that is the one to watch with Koch money

I’m getting a feeling that he has been listening to the Koch Brothers for a bit too long. I’m sure they tell him what a good little boy he is and he stands on his hind legs and wags his tail for them.

But this does not a party nominee make. The Koch’s are not the only wannabe king makers out there in the GOP. I’m sure Sheldon Adelson already has his eye on someone else.

“I got a billion dollar war chest baybeh and friends in high places!”
He’s dumb enough not to know he’s a Koch sock-puppet, and ambitious enough not to care.
I wrote-off Bush-the-younger during the very first debates -a laughable buffoon!- but we all know how that turned out…
