I wonder how many other TPMers have never heard of this guy? Somehow I don’t picture this community going to a lot of raves or EDM parties.

i barely heard of him.

I’m somewhat familiar with The Chainsmokers and Harris, but that’s due to either a particular tune (#selfie) or past acquaintances (Taylor Swift and that Kanye feud).
